Thanks! It was offloaded on a Tuesday and was released to the carrier by that Friday but wasn't actually picked up until Sunday and arrived at the dealer that Wednesday. So 8 days from being offloaded in Baltimore to arriving in NY.

Delayed Delivery
Hi
Just wondering if anyone could share some advice as to how to obtain a firm delivery date or when to expect my car. I ordered my 2019 C63S sedan in mid February 2019 and was told by the dealership to expect the car at the end of May. However since then I've been told to expect the car; beginning of June, mid June, beginning of July, mid July and now end of July. When I contacted the dealership I was told that they were informed by MB Canada that the status is showing for end of july for the production to be completed and should be shipped sometime by the end of July. However this seems unrealistic as I know the production has switched to the 2020 models and if the car hasn't been completed yet I doubt it would be shipped by end of july. Any thoughts / advice?

First - welcome to the boards. Second - read the 100 other posts about people having zero clue when their car will show up. Third - you will know the exact date your car is delivered when you are standing in front of it holding the keys... otherwise, throw darts at a calendar and go from there.
Sorry, but that's just the way it is... sucks, right?

Anyway, we've also had a lot of discussions on the 19's vs 20's and I can tell you this, after speaking with the AMG regional manager on the subject...even though 2020's are already being built, they will not be delivered until Q4 of this year, at the earliest (yes, that means these finished vehicles may sit around for months). That said, I don't really understand how/why they build 20s before 19s in some cases (which does seem to be the case, especially for you), but your car definitely sounds like it's going to be one of the last 19s...
Your dealer should be able to get an update from NetStar, at the least, showing current status. If it has a VIN assigned already, it should be in there too. What I'm wondering, however, is why your car got delayed so much. Did you order a ton of options?
In any case...welcome to the club (the waiting club, that is)!

Thought I would share a couple of interior photos for those wanting to see. We tend to get lots of exteriors, but for those still shopping, here are some photo's of a full CF interior, with Performance seats.

Thomas, welcome welcome welcome to MB PAIN! HAHAHA. i'm one of the many who have been waiting since November '18 for my car to be delivered. Only in the past couple weeks have I found that it's finally on a ship, headed my way. It's excruciating, I know...just check my other post. ![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)

I'm not sure if we have the same Netstar system in Canada since all updates seem to be coming from MB Canada and not the delearship. Hopefully my wait doesn't end up being as long as yours but I guess you never know with these things. The options I got were : obsidian blk / blk and red leather / CF steering / CF centre console / CF spoiler and exterior mirrors / premium pkg / night pkg / tech pkg .
I'm pretty sure MB Canada can give you a better update than "just wait around." I mean, it seems like all the north american cars get built/shipped the same way (not positive though)?

Good luck getting clear estimates on when the car will arrive. My experience there was laughable. NetStar never had updates or clear/accurate information for the dealer. The dealer would call MB and get nothing. The car is great though and worth the wait if you are patient
