Help: Edition 1 side sill panels
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to fit the side sills from the ed1 into our cars? We are debating between two options:
1. Removing the original side sills from the car and fit the ed1 sills
2. Mounting the ed1 sills over the original ones without removing them.
Anyone has made this change or know how to do it?
Many thanks!

Dealer tells me that you must remove the existing side sills panels first and then install the ed1 sills
Yes, for me ed1 is much more aggressive
Will post pics when done

I had them installed 2 weeks ago on my C43 and they must be be drilled into the existing sills in order to have these on. Here's the install guide from Mercedes.

Parts are the same as long as the car has AMG body styling. Also the same on sedan vs coupe, which the installation instructions confirm. C205=Coupe, W205=Sedan.
Here they are on my sedan, they blend in a bit since the car is black but they definitely do stick out much further than the existing sills.

I had the dealer body shop do it and it took them about 2 hours so it cost me about $150 to get done. One thing to keep in mind is the car can't get wet for 24 hours after they're installed since the adhesive needs a day to set and dry.

I checked mine and they are applied over the existing body. Mine is 2015 is there are some parts that are already peeling away from it
