Mods and Upgrades recommendations for a C63

Just joined the AMG family, just wonder what some of you recommend for a first upgrade?

Congrats on the new ride brotha. My first mod for this car was H&R lowering springs I ordered from tire rack for $299. It gave it a nice drop and the ride quality is the same as it was factory, just a bit stiffer imo. I’m getting the windows tinted today and I semi debadged it over the weekend, so I say go for aesthetics to change the look to your liking. Also keep your eye out for BMS piggyback and open intakes to be released shortly to improve the performance side of the car.

Thanks bro! I’m getting my tints this Friday, I was thinking of getting springs and intake first. The issue also is that I’m in MA and winter is almost upon us so I’m just trying to get all the parts & upgrades now then March-April comes I do everything. Any recommendations on rims and tires ?

tint, then some snow tires, get a properly fitted set of wheels will make a huge change. i would not worry about an intake till you have other mods first. maybe just some aftermarket filters

No prob! Ok cool you got the tint covered so I would say do the springs next and wheels babe been a nightmare for me to make a decision on lol. I’ve found several that I like but have yet to pull the trigger since I’m indecisive with most decisions let alone a $3k ish one haha. Tires I’m going Michelin ps4s or continental extreme sport...they are both about the same performance wise but the contis are a few hindered less for a set. Keep an eye on my build thread for ideas

KW HAS, tints, AWE track exhaust. JB4 should probably drop by spring, if you want to go that route instead of bench flash ecu removed tune.

Congrats on the car!

It is a great time, dinner drinks hotel and great drive down.

It is not just Mercedes cars also....we had Mclarens Porsche Ferrari and 4 merc GTRs.

I heard it’s quiet an experience. It’s like a little vacation to go drive you car lol & no it’s used with 16k on it.

Yeah when I was considering leasing a 2018 C63 coupe they told me about it, but that one was a Herb Chambers Mercedes dealer.

You sure they are run-flats as they don't come with run flats but with a used they might have put them on.
some sales men think they are run-flats as mine said they were but were not. they don't have a spare so I guess some clueless sales people think they must be run-flats.
what are they and what size?

#1 mod is better tires

if yours came with Michelin pilot super sports like mine, change! Crap tires.

Atm I'm running Toyo R888r & they made a night and day difference on the car (although you do hear increased cabin noise, so these performance tires should be avoided if you care about noise).

Yeah they’re super sports lol I feel like that’s common on a lot of C63’s for some reason

spinning ain't winning

couldnt even use launch control on the stock tires since they didnt grip at all.

tirecrawler.com has the tires I mentioned on 15% sale+free shipping atm, about to order another set just to have them.

but im also in Florida and dont need to worry about snow

Where are you getting your tints done in MA?

I'm around the area too. I purchased my C63s (coupe) from MBOB too. the only mod I did so far was removing the rear bumper guards that came with the coupe and paint the roof gloss black. I am thinking of tinting next.
