Anyone know or have a guess as to why MB doesn't put the 12 o'clock marker on the designo interior? Here is a pic of mine without it, and on the same showroom floor a C63 S coupe with a 12 o'clock marker. Albeit, with the white seat inserts only. Makes no sense. What really chaps me as well. Is my GTR doesn't have one either. Lot of GTR owners griped about that also. Especially those who paid for the upgraded yellow stitched interior. Makes no sense that there was no yellow stripe on the steering wheel. Yet you could have/get yellow brake calipers and seat-belts. I guess they do what they do and that's that. Anyone know of an easy way to add that? Without using a piece of white duct tape - lol.
Maybe because AMG believes that most owners know where their steering wheel is pointing when the buy a 500hp car. Seriously though, the black stitched mark is enough for me. If it were colored to coordinate with the Designo interior mine would be brown, Im ok without that.
My OCD got the best of me and I ordered a steering wheel that had the Platinum White 12 o'clock marker with the matching stitching. This is the exact steering wheel that goes into a C63 with the white leather (Non-Designo) interior.

I doubt it and I can see why. The Designo Saddle Brown is all brown on the seats and they tie it in with the top of the center console/armrest being brown as well. I think the Saddle Brown looks awesome. Might not look so good as an insert on the black seats like the white. Would probably also look strange having a Saddle Brown stripe on the black steering wheel as well. IMHO the Saddle Brown looks very classy.

Thanks. I made a joke at the dealership and said as much as the steering wheel cost. I'm going to take the old one and go to a Kia dealership and trade it for a new car - lol.
