2019 C63 HELP.. RESONATOR OR CAT DELETE??

I just purchased a 2019 C63AMG. Looking for a bit more sound and pops, but do not want to remove the stock exhaust. Anyone recommend Secondary Cat delete?? Resonator delete?? I have read to try the cat first, then the resonator if its not enough. Thanks for any info....

Well on my W204 c63 sedan and on my black series I did resonator and secondary at delete and it worked a charm. More popping and cracklings deeper tone and louder but not offensive at all. No drone either

Hi mate any half competent exhaust shop could do it. Only cost $100-$200 from memory to cut out cats and or resonators and replace with straight pipe. I have 5 63 AMGs and have it done on all of them. Hitech in Sydney do all my stuff and they are located next door to a favourite cafe and they could do it in the time it takes to have bacon and eggs and a coffee. Never had problems with warranty but then again I have never had an engine issue requiring a service and the discussion. Check out my vids on YouTube: bhenri1975 for a bunch of resonator cat delete vids and longtube noise

These cars dont have resonators. I did a secondary cat delete and that really woke up the car. Id say its about 20% louder. You will love the sound after.

its just a secondary cat delete which means no check engine lights and no tune required. I paid ~$450 Canadian.

When I went to my local exhaust shops they didnt want to do the job and said Ill have to go to a ‘race shop’. Got it done at Eurocharged then

I was one of the first people on here to do a secondary cat delete and don't get me wrong, sounds good but I should've just gone straight to the catless. The catless downpipe sound is intoxicating

Wanna post a vid? Im currently debating to go catlass DP or not

To original post, the CEL/O2 sensors are at the primary cats (you will need a tune if you go catlass DP), but 0 worries & 0 issues will come from removing the 2ndry cats, do it!

I did catless on mine with a stage 2 tune. The sound intensity was about double. You literally won't believe how loud the standard exhaust is with just the cats deleted. With the valves closed its similar to what the car sounded like with the valves open with the standard system (comfort with the catless system sounds like S+ and Race used to sound with with the standard system). But mine is a 2017, so I think they were louder than the facelift to begin with.

In my personal opinion, it a bit too loud with the catless setup, and a touch raspy. I'm thinking of putting a couple of small Dorla resonators in just to take some edge of it.
