Honestly it would be very interesting to see. On one hand, the 911 PDK is just going to downshift so much quicker and the rear-weight bias is going to help. But on the other hand, hard to argue with 700 whp...

991 turbo S are beasts, and like many have already said they put their power down very efficiently, couple that with their lightning fast PDK and 600~ curb weight advantage on top of the 70-80+ Hp differential they will easily walk away every time. With Stage 4 turbos (Yabella or Weistec W4) and supporting mods on slicks on a roll race you might have a chance.

Not interested in anything that aggressive (aftermarket ECU, aftermarket fuel system, engine build, supporting mods like meth injection, etc). This is my daily driver...

2003 SL55 Amg VRP Racing Stage lll
i wish he wouldve came next to me, he wouldve sold his porsche same day, i☹️☹️☹️

OMG, i wish i was there, sorry man, he had some extra power on you, but i never get so lucky to catch one so i can blow him apart. Ur car is a sedan amd of course not in the same level. My sl55 would kill him, short race or top end, i wish i was there, thats all i can say.

So naturally, I'm interested, and start closing in on the Porsche, at which point I see it really take off. Traffic was thick, so it took me several minutes to get lined up to it again, at which point it became VERY clear he wanted to run.

So we're both on an entry ramp to the highway, and I move over to the left lanes, and get on it. 3/4 throttle, and he's literally right on my tail. So I go WOT, and I'm in the 2nd left lane at this point, and he pops over to the left lane and literally just blows by me. Didn't slowly walk me; he pulled away HARD. I was shocked.

We lined up a few seconds later and I asked him, "Is that thing stock?!" And he said "YEA!" Gave me a big thumbs up, said how he loves my car, and then sped off.

I dunno...I was really disappointed. I know I only have 503, but the 2019 Turbo S only has 77 more bhp more, and the C63 seems to be underrated from the factory. I didn't think 77hp woulda let him pull away that hard from me. Freakin sucks.

I have a 2017 C63 S Edition One Coupe, 265s/305s, secondary cat delete. Otherwise stock. 43K miles (daily driver).

Time for a turbo upgrade... [/QUOTE]

Nice vid as are they all of the new E63S in action - it's a beast without exaggeration !

Noticed on the end data sheet the GT3's results don't reflect what went down on the track ??

Those results (all of them) also fall short of the new turbo S even in stock trim it's pinnacle performance machine.

This is quickly veering off topic, but since I just saw this the other day, I thought I'd share. Just some quick Chris Harris fun...an E63 (not C63), but still a fun watch.

A 911 turbo S is super car hidden in a luxury range. Hp and Tq figures slight may they be don't equate in the real world like most expect it too. First off the 911 weighs significantly less than our cars. Second the mid mounted motor keeps the weight over the wheels that need the most grip. Those alone are a recipe of embarrassing big boy cars. In fact my 600+ hp c63 with drag radials will still probably lose to a 911 turbo S. So don't feel bad our cars were designed to be big german muscle cars with status and presence on the road. Not the ultimate racing machine. Cars are a lot like women we all look at every one of them, but theres always that one thats right for you personally. Perhaps you should split with your c63 for the 911 if thats what you want its not like its gonna take half right?

What do you guys think about the Tesla 3 and s variants? Besides the awd advantage what would happen in 1/4 races or slightly shorter street races?

Because of the AWD setup and the instant torque of the electric motors, the Telsa will absolutely jump off the line. But like I said in an earljer post, you have to look at the 1/4 mile trap speed to get a good feel for how a car will pull once off the line.

Most of the runs I've seen for either Telsa (3 or S) have a significantly lower trap speed compared to their 1/4 time. That high 10 second 1/4 time will only have a trap speed in the low/mid 120 mph range.

What does that mean? Tesla will win off the line every time. But from a roll, they aren't anywhere near as fast as they seem like they should be based on their 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.
