CPO Warranty
Anyone care to comment on the MB CPO warranty? Thinking about grabbing a 2015 C63S Sedan. I love the car, but I want to know if the warranty is worth a damn.

Can't comment on the specifics of the CPO warranty terms, but I have a '15 C63S sedan that I've had for almost 4 years and 45K miles. Only warranty claim so far is a new battery and a capacitor for the ECO mode re-start feature. Other than that, absoletely no issues. If the price is right, you can't go wrong with a CPO '15 C63S.

i was planning on offering 45 and seeing where it goes. Not a lot of s sedans out there with the cpo. At least within a reasonable drive. I'll keep my eyes peeled though.

Probably means it's an Edition 1. That means it'll be black with red accents. Doesn't really mean it's worth a lot more, just different than other '15 sedans. Might be maybe $1-2K over a non-ED1 car, but nothing more than that.

That's initially what I thought, but it's steel grey metallic. I'll have to call and ask.

CPO warranty is good. I hate dealers, but somehow my local dealer has got it down - they’re super easy to work with and do everything to make my experience good - and I’ve had quite a few warranty things. The point is, I THINK they’re empowered because of the warranty, but it may be just extra service from the local dealer.

Also, keep in mind how long other examples have been sitting for sale. Just because they might be priced higher doesn’t mean they’re actually selling at that price - if they’ve been there for 90 days or more there’s a good chance they’ve priced it too high.

CPO adds a year to original warranty from original in service date (date car originally sold).
ANd the mileage goes to UNLIMITED which means drive it all you want and warrnty is limited by time only.
Better then an extended IMHO also you can then buy service contracts and MB extended warranties.
So works best when you buy a CPO very close to its original in service date.

One thing I forgot to add:
Sometimes MBUSA offers deals buying CPOs using MBFinance.
typical offer is 2 years free prepaid maintenance which I was lucky enough to get and really sweetens the deal.
SO ya finance and then payoff since or not as interest rates can be pretty good for used car like 1.9% which can easily be beat with an ALLY or Cap 1 or AMEX savings acount without even trying.
