Loving the car more every time I drive it. Short of wheels and a drop, I can't think of much else to do to it. Unfortunately here in Germany we have to stay within the TÜV regulations, so wider tires aren't possible. Thus I opted for spacers, since I really like the stock wheels. Certainly not as easy as modding in the US. If I were stateside, I'd probably already be running straight pipes and 305 rears, but hey, at least we have the Autobahn here

I don't understand why Mercedes just doesn't upgrade their certification to 10 mm wider tires front and back - maybe as optional. To me it's a safer setup because of better traction.

Beats me. The stock tire sizes are a joke for this amount of power.

Trust me, I've weighed the options. Not worth getting my car impounded, or having insurance drop me IF something were to happen. As you can imagine, German police don't have a sense of humor when it comes to "illegal mods".
