Looking at the addresses you posted, all but one are in an exactly straight line that originates from the Eurocharged shop. The South Erie address doesn't line up, but it was also later that the other addresses.
I'm willing to bet that the car lost GPS signal, sensed no changes in direction, and the Mercedes ME app assumed you just drove in a straight line from the Eurocharged shop while the car was running on the dyno. Pretty simple explanation.

So I never valet my C. I never let anyone drive it except maybe my girlfriend as a designated driver.. when I drop off the C at a shop, I just politely let them know that I'll have all the tracking turned on in the app....just in case, because I've been burned before. Not taking any chances.

So when you have a problem fixed on your car or have the car tuned, you do not trust the shop to drive your car to make sure it was repaired correctly or to make sure the tune file is right on the street?
I understand people do not want strangers going out and doing 100+ mph pulls or smokey burnouts in their car, but some of this stuff is ridiculous. That app is absolute garbage by the way. I worked at the dealer for years and it was nothing but problems. I know they are a big company, but it would be nice if you tried to make it up to them with a positive review or something. There is nothing more frustrating for a business owner to be bashed over something that never happened.

Look at the addresses listed earlier. Plot them out on a map. They are in a straight line leading from the Eurocharged shop. And the line is perpendicular to the direction that I'm assuming the dyno is set up (pulling straight into the garage doors).

If it lost GPS signal while inside a metal building and then used the speed/telemetry data from the car during a dyno run, then yes, it very easily could be confused into a "phantom trip".

Hey everyone, i''ve never tune any of my car before so if this is a stupid question, please excuse it. I dropped my car off at Eurocharged to have them do the downpipes and ecu. This morning I check the mercedes me app driving journal and it show me the car have been driven for almost an hour. I look up the address of the place that he was driving to and one of them was a dentistry place and a house in some neighborhood. The car is still at a house in a neighborhood and not at Eurocharged. Does this look like he took it out for a joyride? He also exceeded 55mph speed limit that I set and the roads he was driving on is only 40-45 mph limit.

It's absolutely crazy how trigger-happy so many of you are simply because an app told you something. Please see the attached pics, and then try to tell me this isn't a "phantom trip" as someone else coined it earlier.

^^^ Yup! Unless the car is that fast now that it flew!
Eurocharged is legit, they have their own beasts to joyride lol. We work with them here and there, good people.

I think a few members of the Iphone generation don't understand how old school vehicle GPS systems work. If the vehicle GPS loses signal it uses compass and vehicle speed to plot the coordinates via dead reckoning. The app interfaces with the onboard GPS and reports what Command is telling it.
This is the exact reason I can drive downtown amongst the skyscrapers and Google maps will completely lose my coordinates while my vehicle GPS will just become less accurate.
If the dyno location interfered with GPS signal this is exactly the result you should have expected from the vehicle GPS.
There is nothing wrong with the tuner's integrity nor is there anything wrong with the app. Fv<king user error to the nth degree here.
Explanation of dead reckoning for kiddies who don't know what a non-virtual map and compass are.

Moral of the story, TECHNOLOGY IS NOT MAKING US SMARTER!!!

Glad it worked out. I just purchased a Texas EuroCharged Tune and it should arrive next week. They are waiting for their MyGenius order to arrive. I’ll be loading tune myself. Funny, I just called over the weekend and registered for Mercedes Me and it looked cool since it's FREE.
Eurocharged has a great long term reputation and lots of experience on these cars which is why I chose them. Every company will have a few bad reviews and customers that experience issues. As long as once there is an issue, they address and correct it.

Meh, I personally don't care about those things... I'd rather the shop drive it for a while so that any problems that arise will happen with them and they can fix it rather than it happening on my drive. As long as it's not like, >50 miles I don't really care... even 50 miles is whatever. And as long as there is no damage to the car, I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, personally.

Also the valet protect that alerts you each time the ignition is started or stopped gets turned off after once instance. So when my car is at the dealer and they are crapping around with it for a week for some mundane task that should take 3 hours, I have to reset the thing a million times for Valet and Trip Diary.
