Hello All, 2020 c63S Sedan on order...few questions
Hello all...i am a new member (kind of)...used to frequent the forums a lot back when i had a 2012 c63 and went a bit MIA after i traded it in for a 2014 m5.
I recently went to my local dealer who i have dealt with and placed an order for a 2020 c63S sedan... i am very excited and cant wait to get back into a c63..i am planning on trading my 2015 e63S.
Does anyone know when production will begin on the 2020’s? Dealer has told me they’re waiting for an allocation slot from MB..i have paperwork showing my order and etc. just wanted to get an understanding of when i should be expecting the car.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and i am looking forward to speaking to some of you veterans...Vic55 was around back in 2012 and I’m glad to see him still in here..i envy his collection!!

The next issue is when MB actually has the model certified. Each new model year requires new testing. In 2019, for instance, many models were built and shipped but spent months waiting for testing and release.
The best source of information is a really good sales associate. He will keep your informed when MB issues the release schedule, which is usually pretty accurate. He will also be upfront about a slot allocation. Unfortunately, this usually means a large dealership that's part of a group that can trade slots.

This seems ambitious to me given there are still people in the '19 delivery thread waiting for their cars, but I will be pleasantly surprised if the car arrives before October.

not really from what i saw in the dealer ordering guide. few differences are that some things come standard on the 20. the only reason i ordered a 20 is because i’ll be out of the country until august/september and don’t want to be scrambling looking for a 19 when i get home
