Service B1
How much are you guys paying for Service B in. The US? Here in Canada I was quoted ~900 by the dealer, ~650 by eurocharged and then ~450 by a private dealer.
The dealer asking for almost a grand for just an oil change and some checks was pretty ridiculous.

Basic oil, rotate and fluff service here in California is about $350usd. If you have the space and basic mechanical knowledge, I would suggest doing it yourself for less than $80usd

Just got mine done in Canada, was quoted 800, charged 500.

After looking up what is included in the B1 service, I am pretty sure I'm going to just do it myself. Except for the brake bleed, I hate doing that .

I believe B1 also includes replacing both outside and inside cabin air filters, and brake flush.
Check out the forums for instructions and do it yourself.
I buy 5 quart jugs of Mobil-1 0W40 from Walmart.com and about $22.00 US each, plus $29.00 for oil filter (ALWAYS get your oil filter from a dealer for warranty purposes). That's $73.00 for oil change.
Then, both cabin air filters can be aftermarket. Mine were about $50.00 for both.
Brake bleed needs dealer fluid (again for warranty purposes). 2 liter bottles are about $25.00 each. Then, a Motive pressure bleeder at Amazon for about $45-$70 depending upon which model (0100 or 109) you buy.
So total for parts is around $250.00, and the brake bleeder is there ready for your bleed in 2 years.
Even if you take it to a dealer for only the Brake Bleed, I can't imagine them charging more than $200 total for that service.

Paid $230 for what?
If for just a brake flush then that sounds reasonable (at least in AMG standards).
If for the entire service, then no chance at all they did any of that required work.
