Touchpad home button not working

Touchpad home button not working
It does nothing. No click or anything. The back button and the last track buttons work. And the main touchpad area is ok. Just nothing when you try to press the home button. Anyone else had this?

Are you sure you have it "enabled" in your system settings ?? ( I am only guessing if the home buttons have a separate activation, as I remember someone in passing talking to me about it)

Good luck, and hope its just something really simple :-)

Thankyou. Not sure. I’m pretty certain it was working when I first went through the manual. I can see options to turn the entire touchpad on and off but not a separate one for home. All the other home buttons work so just an irritation rather than a big problem of course.

And now I go back out there it is working again. Weird.

Weirdly it seems random. It just wouldn’t press. Now it clicks down happily. With music playing or without.

May be dust or something clogged in the area where you have key travel (just like the issue you commonly see with Macbook and similar laptop keyboards)., and you were able to get that out somehow when you were repeatedly trying.

Not sure about that. I didn’t do anything. Just got back in and it’s working again.
