Got my CKS blacked out grille today and lower vent inserts. They forgot to include the star, so waiting to hear back about how I can get that. I’m debating on whether I want to go through the hassle of install or not or put it all up for sale here.

They provide the non-disctronic 3D star. It’s in the description on their site. For whatever reason, they forgot to include mine and they are shipping it out today. I need it as my car is a 2015 ED1 which did not have disctronic.

Thanks for posting this up along with photos and a link. I've ordered mine from CKS too.
The CKS aftermarket grille looks identical to OEM. Most of the other aftermarket Panamericana grilles have a weird, additional silver bar in the middle, underneath where the star sits which is silly.

Any issues from Insurance provider for change of Grill? Here in Australia this is considered as modification and some insurance provider refuse to insure.
*****I just did my blacked out grille myself a couple of weeks back. I think it looks great. I got it off a vendor on Ebay, and it was only about $200 or so shipped. I was pleasantly surprised as it seems decent quality and all of the bolt and snap closures lined right up. I bought the Red AMG Grille badge separately (about $20, Ebay).
I installed it all without having to remove the bumper, but I had to use some really odd looking trim tools and rotate the bumper from the fenders after loosening the holding bolts where they connect together at the seams on either side. That is done through the wheel wells after removing a few snap closures there with a trim tool.
I didn't work fast, and didn't have a helper to safely remove the bumper, so figured out a way to just basically rotate the bumper down and open up the area between the radiator so I could carefully loosen all of the clips from the back, and slide the new grille in after the old one was out and snap it all back together. The camera had to be disconnected and re-attached to the new grille with a little box that was provided along with bolts to hold it all in. I had to re-use my old Star, but it all snapped in perfectly - the Star for Distronic seems different than non-Distronic, so I didn't get an aftermarket one, as I wasn't sure what to get.

I'm with Budget Direct. It's only a dress up/grill swap to newer version of the exact same car....... people usually ask for the updated grill to be fitted instead when at smash repairs if they've had a prang at the front

Just buy OEM parts, everything you need including the lower grille was like $750
Is there an all black OEM version of the upper grille? My 2021 C63S has the updated grille, but I am just looking to lose the chrome accents. I don’t want to paint it or use plastidip… and vinyl wrapping it looks pretty difficult.
i had a panamericana grille on my 2017 but it just got damaged. Just want to confirm that fitment will be plug n play still on pre-facelift if I get a VIN of a 2019+ C63s coupe and use that to order the grille from the dealer so i can get Panamericana style? Thanks

*****Not quite that easy. You need to make *sure* whatever grille you get is for the same camera/no camera and Distronic or no Distronic on your vehicle. Several guys bought the wrong grille for their cars options and were very disappointed after removing the old grille and finding out the new one could not accommodate their camera setup on the front or the Distronic star, or other similar issue. When in doubt, ask the seller and make sure you know the options on your vehicle, and mebbe provide a pic if possible.
Hello, why some grilles have the AMG logo some don't
****You usually have to buy the AMG logo separately or somehow re-use the one that came on your original. I just bought my logo on Ebay. It was like $14 or so. Easy to install.
