Those with BC Forged Wheels .... take a read
I decided to take my rear wheels off to do some work and when I pulled the wheels off I found water had entered the wheel through the ctr hole and pooled in the hub area and the hub had started rusting as the water had been in there quite some time . The stupid design of their ctr cap allows water to enter through this small hole in the cap which is behind the cap and it has a ring around the cap . It doesn't allow the water back out and keeps it inside ..there was quite abit of dirty rusty water inside and that poured out . I ended up grinding all the rust out and painting the hub and then sealed the hole in the ctr cap so it cannot allow water back it ..... what a stupid design , not sure what they were thinking so I suggest you guys take a peek inside yours

It doesn’t matter anyway. There will always be rust build up between the rotor hub and the wheel meet.

Its not the face of the rotor its the actual ctr bore of the hub ...there shouldn't be any water in there ... it was filled 3/4 full ( ctr of actual wheel) and rusted pretty heavy and in the inside of the ctr cap turned to almost black

Ive had lots of wheels on my cars and I work for Mercedes and have never one come in with this issue so it's not that common ...... its a design flaw but this is just a warning for others to check their wheels or don't ...their choice
