Is this normal?

Look at the gap. Everyone else’s like this as well?

Its the correct size, but I’m not sure if it’s on the rim far enough. Like not fully mated to the top edge of the rim.

The sidewall looks round opposed to flat, which is why I believe the tire is stretched. Had the exact same look on a set of rims I bought that were too wide. Ended up returning them as there was nothing that could be done and I hated the look of the rounded sidewall.

Never really noticed it before but when I looked more closely mine looks like that too. It's more obvious from certain angles. The rear tires are more "stretched" than the fronts, but the fronts even have a similar gap between the rim and the protective "rib" of the tire. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about, especially if BOTH your rears looks exactly the same.

OP...that is kind of weird looking to me. I had the 285/30/20 tire on that exact wheel and it was stretched but not like that. My wheel edge was not that exposed. I will see if I have a picture of mine?

Yeah it's no concern really, I feel it's more of a personal preference. For me I didn't want my car looking like a 19 year old's lowered drift car 😉

I looked at a pad I use for notes. Some time ago, I had written down these sizes: 265/45-20 for the fronts and 295/40-20 for the rears. The reason was the car came with Cup 2's. I needed something safer for Houston weather (think rain...). Anyone else running these sizes on a 2020 Coupe?

I have the 19/20 AMG crossed spoke wheels and I recently went to the PS4S 295/30/20 and it fits perfect...see my post about it here https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...5-30-20-a.html

I've sent a text to my car guy. He's going to source me a set of 265/35-20 and 295/30-20. I don't feel comfortable with seeing that gap between the rim and the tire. If I didn't know better it looks like the tire was fully inflated to seal the upper-most bead.

What tire is that in the first picture? Is that a Pilot Super Sport (stock tire)?

Oh well...get those 295 (meats) on there and you will be much happier
