⏱️ 700HP Facelift converted C63 S Coupe with Drexler 3.06 plated LSD
I have sorted all codes from a 2012 W204 accident damaged apart from hard codes in airbag module with my Autel, even Xentry cant do it you need to replace the module once airbags have detonated.
Have also used it to change instrument cluster, radio, ABS module, seatbelts, reset SRS steering angle sensor and reset after repairs were done on a W204 that was in limp mode, calibrated steering angle sensor, calibrated parking sensors, plus many more procedures that I was told only the star could do,

Thanks for recommending this professional tool man, I had no idea this existed until your recommendation.
Legend. Ordering mine tomorrow and can't wait to get it. This thing is mega it's even got full TPMS functions. Your pics really helped me out dude. How have you found it? Been fiddling with it much?

Does everything the tablets do thru your phone, except relearning tpms sensors
I work on cars and own 3 of the Autel tablets.
The main difference besides the obvious display size, is the dongle only enables one brand with a payment of 34 dollars to activate each other brand.
Pretty good option for the home guy though.
I will buy one just to have the Dongle in the car.
It also isnt vin Locked, so it will work on every Mercedes.

With AUTEL online coding you will blow your coding and get wrong software errrors in many cases
There is 0 solution for coding and programming online replacement
All workshops I have as client tried Autel before joining
if you just want to scan, use a OBD plug and Torque application 50$ + 5$ right on your HU
That MP808TS is,just good for scanning and basic functions

No one’s coding headlights. I just need to know if the car is throwing soft codes that can’t be read with a typical scanner and clear them if they’re bs instead of taking it to a dealer.

as far as resetting ecus, small coding changes ect Autel works fine

I have an Audi and I use the Hex Rosstec dongle. Very easy to use. You can modify nearly everything in the car. It seems strange there is. I similar device on the market for a Mercedes. Cost was around $300-400 depending on how many cars you'd like coded on the dongle. Mine has 10 cars.

This thread has been going on for a while. I find on this forum, people are scared or not willing to help each other!
If anyone one asks me for help and I know the answer, why wouldn't I help? Sad really.
I'm sure there is an answer to this thread beside the most expensive option... I also own an Audi RS3, and have a Rosstec HEX V2 and I can practically reprogram the whole car at will, clear codes etc. price is around $300-600 depending on how many cars you want to work on.
If anyone one asks me for help and I know the answer, why wouldn't I help? Sad really.

Need diagnostic and programming tool
Just dropping a note here that I bought the Xentry kit aka Star Diagnostic tool, it does everything.. Clear any codes you want and a bunch of other awesome features like reset adaptions, fuel mix...and gazzilion other features. I would definitely recommend getting that instead of a generic system.
and want to find diagnostic tool that also has programming capabilities. can you recommend where to purchase one that has good support?

@CRAZYAPRIL I wanted to give a thumbs up for BenzNinja. It takes a little patience to get all the equipment delivered (laptop, SSD, and Starconnect C4) but once you have everything, his set up will do any diagnostic and programming that you need. Plus you'll have the dealer workshop manuals (WIS) for the vehicle which are essential for any work. And the best part is his virtual in-person assistance with any coding or programming work. For example, I called about 4 dealerships and a couple independent shops in my area to get Android Auto working on my car (only came with Apple Carplay) and they all said that it can't be done without buying a new module and possibly head unit / display. BenzNinja was able to program my existing equipment and now I have Android Auto. And if either of your cars have the ILS headlights you will be amazed at how great they work once he activates that programming.
