Subtle anti freeze smell after a drive detected in my garage
Sometimes after I park the car I detect a faint smell of anti freeze in the garage after a drive. No leaks detected. Coolant level seems fine.
Anyone else experience this?

Some people clean or replace the coolant caps. I found a small nick in the edge of my coolant tank lip where the cap seals.

A year later I'm starting to get a faint smell all over again after driving and aircon is ON.
With the aircon OFF, there's no smell at all so I'm guessing a leak is back again. Like the last time, not losing losing coolant.... yet.
Try it out by driving without aircon at all. Does it still smell?
With mine these smells only started happening after upgrading turbos 3 years ago so I'm thinking all the extra heat is causing my older brittle hoses or seal(s) to die early.

Mine did this whenever I had the air con on and turned out to be a tiny leak in one of my turbo coolant lines behind the intake area. Got it fixed for $1000 AUD.
A year later I'm starting to get a faint smell all over again after driving and aircon is ON.

Gonna have to remove the undertray and look for leaks, but nothing on the garage floor that I've seen.
