I just change my engine oil around 700miles,I got a oil notice fews day ago for ask me add 1L of EngineOil.

Today My c63s Ask me to add 1L EngineOil Again,I watch so many messages that there are always sensor problem.

Yes, there is a dip stick. It's the only way to check the oil level. There is an oil level sensor that alerts when the oil has reached the min level, but there is a known issue with faulty sensors. I had these false oil level warnings since I picked up the car from the factory, and they replaced the oil level sensor during the last service. Haven't seen another warning since.

Be prepared for the weirdest and least user-friendly dipstick you've ever seen. In fact, it's not a "stick" at all, it's more of a wire or cable. Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen one like this and it's a bear to use. The first time I took it out I was afraid I'd never get it back in again or I would break it. Still scares me about long-term lifespan because it seems so fragile, and I worry that the little plastic bit at the end could come off. I won't be checking my own oil with this car as often as I normally do. But...I've already had the ubiquitous "Add Oil" warning come on when the dipstick showed the oil level was perfect, so it's hard to know what to do in these circumstances. Sorry, but this is a ****ty design. There has to be a better way.

Takes a bit of fiddling and carefully feeding it back in step by step. Definitely not the best design, but it works for occasionally checking the oil. These engines don't seem to burn oil. Other than the known oil level sensor issue, I haven't had a need to really check it. If you are getting oil level warnings, it's most likely a faulty oil sensor. Take it in and get the sensor replaced.

Also the dipstick (should be called diprod) is very hard to read.

mstraka, you want to tell them how you 'check' the oil level in a Porsche Macan?

Agreed! I got the warning at 17K miles the other day and it did look low on the dipstick (checked it four times before I decided to add oil)...but then it looked like it was showing the same thing after I added some oil but the alert went away.

That DIPROD is Stupid!!!

I use Liqui Moly in my C63S motor. At the next oil change I may use Liqui Moly Molygen. Product has green color and is stated that under UV light will glow green. Easy to see oil level and any possible oil leaks with an inexpensive UV flashlight (ebay.) UV Flashlight also makes scorpions glow in the night. Sleep tight knowing there are no scorpions in your bed and your oil level is correct, ZZZ.
