Haha. Although I'm no stranger to shoving my foot in my mouth, I'm pretty confident on this one. If a "mini cat" that size would be capable of doing the job of the OEM sized converters, there would be no need to make them that big in the first place.

Im in the process of installing these DPs, everything was going smooth until it came time to remove the stock DPs and find a way to snake them out, it was a pain. The driver’s side one gave me the most issues since the steering column is in the way. All I can suggest for people that are going to do this is when you are cutting the stock DPs from the bottom cut as high as you can after the secondary cat.
The bracket that the DPs are connected to is also dumb, i had to take off screws from under the car.
I finally took the stock DPs off, now im stuck getting the driver’s side catless DP installed, the steering column is in the way again, i know i just have to keep on playing with it and it will eventually go through just a pain.
That was all yesterday, after I get home from work ill try again. In my opinion if snaking the DPs in and out wasn’t a pain this would be an easy job. But I would rather be going through this than paying someone $700 to do it for me lol
I purchased two of these http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html to help with the CEL, ill let you guys know if they work once im done

Did you ever get the driver side downpipe in? What did you do?
I did this job today and and got to the part of installing driverside downpipe in - It won't fit. From the top. From the bottom. With the steering shaft disconnected.
OP - how do I accomplish the install without taking it to a shop to fix my half completed job?
I ended up re-installing the cut in half stock downpipe on and the aftermarket passenger side on.
I'm pretty angry at myself for letting my car defeat me.

I am wondering why the OP @shardul has NOT chimed in on this..
From what I have seen/read on other DP installs, I dont think it should be this difficult, more so if you CUT the stock ones out.. (I have hear from some that have dropped the trans, etc , and that was a Major task, but by no means
should you need too be beating on items and then trying to bend back for a installation.. (IMO)

As imedina36 said start from the top and snake it down. Steering shaft has to be disconnected.

and with a post from @imedina86 , he never mentioned disconnecting the Steering Shaft, just that it was in the way..
I would have assumed that if you saw that post back then, you would have made a comment or statement to the people whom purchased afterwards that "disconnecting the steering column is required/recommended)
But hey, I dont have a dog in this fight, as I dont have your dp's ... so it was merely an observation on my part.

A shop told me the subframe has to be removed.
There aren’t any guides out here or pictures.

i couldn’t get the pipe through the top. I couldn’t get it from the bottom. It wouldn’t fit either way. Are the compartment spaces different on a 2019 C63?
