Thoughts on Panamera 4S
I found a local Panamera 4S in the area and my car would essentially be a break even trade. 10K less miles and in white (I miss having a white car). What are your thoughts? I do not mind the speed difference and I like the idea of all wheel drive.
I do not want to pay more for a Turbo or GTS.

What year?
Panamera: size/space, ride comfort and it's a Porsche
C63s Ed 1: horsepower, it's a V8
In my eyes the trade is for comfort and the Porsche badge for the raw power of the AMG.
Full disclosure, I am a Panamera fan. I am less of a C63 fan, so I have a built-in bias.

It is a 14 with 35k miles. All wheel drive and S model. I owned a Cayman before and the fun factor was definitely there, but could not even haul a set of coilovers in the back pouch of a trunk. I have a real bias for white paint.

I wouldn’t do it for a 14. Only consider 17 and up. 14 looks so outdated. C63s looks newer and definitely stands out more plus V8 biturbo come on.

Just an opinion, I can not stand the look. My friend love it and asked for my opinions when he was shopping for one. I honestly told him it UGLY as F@@k and honest wouldn’t buy one at any price.

Right there with you. I’m a big Porsche guy. Arguably my favorite cars. However, the Panamera’s are just downright awful to look at. I would not drive one.

Similar thoughts as everybody else. The Panamera is not a good looking car, especially the previous generation. Looks like a stretched 911 with a blister on its behind. Really not a flattering design. The current generation is easier on the eye and I almost like it. But the 4S is honestly nothing to write home about. The Panamera is a 4500+ lbs car, so you really need at least the Turbo to get this thing moving at the level the C63S moves. The current generation 4S has the same engine as the Audi RS5 and it's pretty boring. Can't imagine the previous V6 to be anymore exciting.

First-gen Panamera design is extremely hit or miss with people. I don't mind it and the interior quality-wise (not tech though) obviously feels a class higher. You don't care about the speed difference so any discussion on that doesn't matter. My dad has a first-gen Panamera 4. I wouldn't own one, but I can see the appeal. Great daily, reliable, and the PDK feels nice. If the one you're looking at is well optioned, it could be a good idea.

DO NOT make a decision based on emotion! Not for a car that is now SEVEN (7) years old. If you can get a warranty, they'll bleed you for it. Why? Because it's an old car and it will start to break soon. Over and over again.... Wait and find a newer car. Save yourself pain down the line.
