Sorry mate, it wasn't my intention to offend you Bruce.

I do all the designing here at ZAC, and there have been a lot of projects. This one is still progressing, we have the filtration / baffle system sorted now. We were trying to make a more universal system, but in the end there were too many compromises. So the first one will be W205 C63, then W213 E63 then GT (C190 etc).
Promise it will be in the coming months. Thanks guys!

I subscribed to keep abreast of this. However, I never see oil in my turbos. I dont think this package C63 has a requirement for this. Again I will watch and learn

We have been working on the catch can this week. Some parts such as filtration are on the way now. I will try keeping keep this thread on topic. Basically our intakes are larger inlet and outlet, and some other features. DM me or contact sales@zacmotorsport.com if you want some more information.

there is still plenty of evidence of carbon build up on top of the intake valves on cars even with very low miles. The main contributor to this is DI, and oil vapour being introduced back into the intake system.

A quick update, Catch can machining is well underway, the cans are here, mounts are about 2 weeks away, fittings and hoses are on the way too.
Final Pre Production Prototype we hope to show, with pricing March.
Renders below give you a fair idea of the system.

Awesome! Will these work in the E63 as well? Or do they need to be modified?

I started this thread almost two years ago. Unless I'm wrong, ZAC was the only company to move on this. My previous Benz was a '13 C63 AMG coupe w/AMG Dev Pkg that I sold to my son (who then traded it and bought a '17 AMG GTS). The W204's were notorious about almost demanding catch cans due to blow-by. For mine I went with Weistec. It was expensive, but it was the quality of the connectors made specifically for the W204 that made the difference.

Looking forward to the final product. GL!

So looking at the pictures it appears that the crank case is being vented to the atmosphere is that correct?

If so, then this is not street legal, is that also correct?

Thanks,

Jack

We have been running a prototype for about 5 months. We are making some changes to improve serviceability but so far our design definitely does it's job... More details to follow in the coming days.

That is what I heard as well. Cause I think someone tried installing them and those cans were always empty almost.
