Just had some ModalWorks catted DPs installed on my 17 and it's perfect!

Crisp snaps and cracks.

Reviving this thread. What are the monitors for emissions testing that need to pass? I’m sure it’s specific state to state, county to county, but typically? Is it “Catalyst”, “Oxygen Sensor” or “Heated Catalyst” as well?

I am catless with a tune, so no CEL.

I made 425whp stock on dynojet that seems pretty accurate

I have 200 hi flow cats and the bigdaddy spacers and once in awhile the p2099 cel comes on. Anyone else have this happen to them? I think I’m just going to get a tune. But with that I might as well go catless

Remember that no tune is involved.

Absolutely worth every penny! I also did a dyno just to see. Picked some power and torque.

I just had this past Saturday downpipes cut it and start from logos engineering also a Euro charge stage 2 with wise take vTA's blow off valves. I noticed an increase in power but it takes a while for the boost to engage I have to really step on it I guess the most disappointing part is that I'm not getting the sound that I thought I would / crackles and pops only time that I hear it except I'm really up into RPM range and by that time I'm breaking the speed limit LOL I'll be reaching out to my tuner and Euro charge to see if maybe I need to add air intake filters or something else needs to be done I have a 2020 c63s amg. Or maybe do I have to wait till the downpipes actually break in but they are high flow catted

The fl c63 and c43 I believe both have CPC modules that limit stuff. Since you have a FL, did you also get your CPC tuned as well?

No I didn't, for the price I assumed it would have been included but after doing some research it appears that its an addition 2000.

That may also have to do with it- if you unlocked new found power especially in the lower rpm range, the CPC may be keeping it in check because it's programmed to do so. Not letting you reap the full benefits.

Which version of the HJS 200 cell dps did you end up going with? 121mm or 130mm? Redstar says you shouldn't get a CEL with the 130mm version of the HJS cats.

I did some research and I found out that the way the dps are built and the position of where the o2 sensor attachments are placed on the dps makes a difference whether or not you get a CEL with HJS 200 cats or not. Fabspeed and Renntech both apparently redesigned some of their dps to fix this issue. So it could be that for the Red Star dps.

Here are my Red Star HJS 200 cell dps with heat shielding:

I still think the 400 cell GESI won't cause a cell. Its heavily loaded with precious metals and have a no cell Guarantee and is EPA certified

Yes but I'm asking about the 130mm HJS 200 cell cats. They are listed on Redstars CEL free guide but I wanted to see which HJS 200 cell cats Brian had.
