What brand vinyl did you use? I see so many mixed reviews about the different gloss blacks. Looks really good, Id like to do it.

I used 3M 2080 gloss black. I like it and think it looks good, however in no way compares to paint...obviously. I’ll leave it on for a week or so to see if it’s worth keeping.

Did it myself. Not too hard, just have to remove the roof trim pieces

there is a new black PPF, brand is STEK. Looks like paint but protects like PPF. Try it out

honestly im convinced that PPF is a gimmick and waste of money. I have it on CF front lip and it still got chipped.. When it comes to an incoming stone at highway speeds these PPFs cant do much

it's not bulletproof but it is 100% much better vs having nothing at all. Worth it for sure IMO, at minimum the front bumper.

STEK does not sell directly to customers, only authorized installers. Try reaching out to one in your area and buy some material from them

This makes a huge difference especially on a white car.

Mine is matte and doesn't look to bad, but I'm honestly considering this now.

Did mine right after I picked it up. Local shop charged me $50 and took maybe an hour. Should have came that way!

do you know if the shop had to remove any of the roof trim pieces during the wrap?

I was told that the wrap might not cover all the corners perfectly unless the pieces were taken off so just wondering if that is true or this shop wasnt good enough to do the job..
