c63 coupe. TAILLIGHTS, how to turn on? + Vvivid smoke
Hello c205´s!
I cant understand the lights on this coupe, i mean, in park mode the lights are to week?
I remmeber i had the same issue with my m4, but fixed it with bimmercode..
Does it exist any hax´s for this?
Tinted them today by a friend anyway, "vvivid smoke" since i cant find any oem smoked alternatives like on bmw?

I got the light tinted version by Vvivid which I think u have the same but at night u can see the lights clearly, day time still visible from a distance. Its just how the car lights are not much to worry

The intensity between the inner and outer housings definitely seem mismatched from most angles but makes sense since the outer is so much longer but has the same amount of leds shooting down the light guide.
Wish they made an OLED blackline version!

Are you complaining that they are weak now that you tinted them? They are obviously not designed to be tinted. As far as I know tinting the tail or headlights is illegal by federal law and for good reasons. They seem perfectly bright enough as long as you don't mess with them.

Yeh the difference between the inner and outer when you're anything but directly behind really bugs me

Yes I know what you mean. At certain angles, like perpendicular to the car, the longer section looks much dimmer than the small section. However, if directly behind, they are the same brightness. I think it just has to do with the angles, and led placement, etc. it bothered me a lil at first, but as I am rarely looking at the car from those angles with the lights on, I don’t mind anymore. Also, if you are driving next to the car it’s only like that for a second when you are in just the right position.
i am still going to smoke/tint mine soon, a little bit, and the smaller red ones below the brake lights as well. I would never go full blackout, but even if you did the led strip in rear window would still be plenty bright to indicate you are stopping.
