🏠 Does everyone park their C63 in a garage?

My car is my daily so I usually leave my coupe in the driveway overnight and throw on a car cover when it's not in use but do any of you blokes leave yours in your driveways too?

I've heard some guys over in the UK leave their very expensive cars on the street due to having no parking spot..........

Both but mine is sometimes in the driveway too because it gets driven heaps.

Lots of those terrace houses in UK don't have garages. Heaps of expensive cars parked outside there. But it's always cloudy and sh*t unlike here in Sydney.

Mine is in the car port, garage has other cars in it. Thinking of building another bigger garage and converting old double to a room.

I'll put mine in the garage if there's going to be a hurricane (not this time though as it wasn't going to hit Miami) or if I'm going out of town for a while. Otherwise, it's parked under the car port to keep it out of the elements.

I have 2 car garage and when I had 3 cars, one had to be outside. I didn’t care since it’s in my driveway. I used to be nervous when I lived in an apartment in the city, I used to park away from everyone and you’ll always find someone next to you even though there’s plenty of spots.

When I lived at an apartment. Those were my go to spots and it was furthest away from the entry door but for some reason you’ll always find people parked right next to my 2 cars.

I pay for a monthly inside Parking garage space in NYC. Initially the attendants would park and retrieve my car but after some time and generous tips I now park and retrieve the car myself. It's a good deal espically with covid 19 as now I'm the only one in the car.
If anyone routinely parks in an inside a municipal parking garage where attendants park it then consider Bumper Blockers.(photo). It takes about 2 minutes to put on. The negative is that

even folded up they will take up space in the trunk.

Yes, I pull into my garage, partly because I have a tandem garage, so I'm swapping cars regularly and whichever is in the front needs to get in and out. There are other reasons, though. I had my previous car vandalized by a jealous person one time I parked outside, and I really like my car to stay clean as long as possible. I live on the water, so bird droppings and all. In general I don't really get why anyone would park a nice car outside if they have a garage.

Not just in the UK. Same here in the SF Bay Area. Most have to park their cars on the street as garages are rare, or if they have one it's often only a 1 car garage, so their second, third etc. car is parked on the street. With high housing costs and roommates there are often three or more cars per household and most or all of them are parked on the street. Those are usually not nice cars, though ;-). The result is you can rarely find parking if you go anywhere. When I was shopping for my place, my biggest criteria was at least a 2 car garage. No way I would want to go hunt for a street parking space every time I come home and park in a different place every day. I did that during grad school and it was painful enough. The apartments I lived at before had at least enough off street parking for all the units and sometimes even assigned parking spots. I'm fascinated every time I go to Tokyo. There's no street parking and if you wanna own a car, you have to prove that you have off street parking on your property or otherwise you can't even register the car.

Do I park mine in a garage? Dude, I've turned down jobs that didn't have covered parking in the form of a garage. Truly. Yeah. That ****.

According to the photo in this UK those lines between the spaces seem very tight, under code if this are any. Appears it would be almost impossible if over 200 pounds to exit. Door dings?

Unfortunately I can not, I have to park on the street cause the garage only fits one car and its for the Tesla and our driveway is non-existent.

If you saw how poorly Tesla's are built you'd put the Mercedes in the Garage . We fix Telsa's in our shop as well as Mercedes and the Telsa's quality is no where near the build quality of the Mercedes

Fortunately or unfortunately, I’m a DV. I use handicap parking when the pain is too much. Otherwise I park in a wide open areas and hobble to the store.

Subsequently, handicapped parking spaces are much wider. It minimizes the chance of getting dinged. Two years on my Macan and she’s still pretty.

Where i am currently living my wife we have a driveway but no garage, however my parents literally live 2 minutes away with a car and 6-7 minutes away on foot. Sometimes ill leave my car in their garage, or sometimes i leave it out in my driveway. My car is fully wrapped with xpel PPF and coated with ceramic pro so I’m not too **** about leaving the car out. If I didn’t have a driveway and had to park on the street though i would definitely just leave it in the garage every night.

Wife just bought an electric car and as a result the C63S has been relegated to the sheltered cover to the side. Damn, need to figure out how to get it back in the garage.....

Just recently went back to driving my C63S daily...mainly because I seem to never drive it when I had a daily driver and I missed the AMG badly!!!

Anyway my AMG is always in the garage at home and I have covered parking at work...not as good as a garage but protects it better than just sitting outside.

Now put some tile flooring in that garage and could be your study room ...looks you dont have a lot of stuff to store in your garage. I try to keep my clean and organized but just all the left over car parts from 3 cars start to pile up.
