How to remove roof trim

Does anyone know how to remove the black roof trim that runs the length of the roof? Thanks

Would like to know this also since I just had some vinyl arrive to wrap the roof. Doesn't look like there is anything under the little roof rack hatch doors that are holding them so must be clips. Will be using knifeless tape to cut. Any tips from anyone that has actually removed them? Thanks.

You mean the 2 black mouldings that run left and right sides ? They just unclip , pull up but problem is the very front one ......close to the hood . They usually break and are 1 time use so you may have to buy 2 new yellow clips

Great to know they are replaceable clips and not part of the moulding. Thanks for the info!

Yeup! The place that did my roof wrap broke one of the front clips... didn't know they're usually a 1 time use type of deal. I ordered from MBparts though, super cheap! $1.82:

Thank you for your purchase! We will start processing your order shortly and will notify you with any updates. You can monitor the status of your order here.

But of course shipping was an extra $14... haha

So for the two ones running along the side of the roof you just pull straight up and they pop right off?

Yes - Start 4 or so inches from the back and lift straight up. Found that doing it with my hands instead of a tool was the best way. I wrapped my roof without completely removing them so ended up having to unsnap both sides twice because I didnt want to break any clips up front. First time around was to thoroughly clean the rubber and under the rails so I didnt get a bunch of debris on the film and then again to tuck under the stripping after using knifeless tape to cut.
