OEM Carplay retrofit + Bigger facelift MB Screen possible?
I have a 17 C63 with the smaller screen, without CarPlay. Is it possible to retrofit CarPlay via OEM with the new software, unit and if possible the bigger screen in the FL models?
I see mixed results when searching online and then some afternmarket options. If anyone is using an aftermarket module, can you post your experience with it. Most aftermarket units have glitches and subpar quality from my experience so I'd prefer OEM if possible.

@Star4life - are you doing the stereo only or the dash too? I got a quotation for the digital dash and NTG5.5 install with scn coding for 3500 euro delivered.

hey guys give me until the end of this week. I am attempting to see if the command unit alone can be retrofitted. The new IC and command have a lot of cross function. i am seeing what is lost by just doing radio alone and vice versa. Estimated cost is going to be around 5k USD for those interested. used price wont be much less if any and new may be slightly more. The radio alone is $3500-4000 new just for reference.
For those who don't care about new or used, i will have a used price but its first come first served as used supply is actually hard to come by. I am not going to sell these kits as new with used headunits with my standard warranty. If you want a used unit i can get a price to reflect it but i am not going to warranty for same period as our new units.
i will reply to pms, just been very busy dealing with tuning the cars and HPFP currently and we are having a lot of issues with the new TCU tune (for c43 not c63) eurocharged came out with so this has been occupying a lot of our time trying to test and log.
i will get back to all of you.

we are trying to break the 43 into the 10s and its an uphill battle. we are getting there. just needed to find the right ingredients.

we can do either or both. and guaranteed to get new not knock off parts. just to give you a reference price, the command radio alone costs $3500-$4500 USD. so if you think you are getting new parts for that price think again. If you want used parts that is not a problem. just let me know!

Are any functions lost by doing this upgrade or does everything work as it would on the newer model the replacement parts come from? I would be interested there digital dash and all the functions it contains. Is it possible to do one or the other without any loss in function or is that still being figured out?

you still able to do this? It’s about the one thing about my 2018 c63S Coupe that I don’t like. If I could upgrade it would go along way to extending the life of this car for me.

I was told that if you want the larger headunit + OEM CarPlay, you have to upgrade the instrument cluster as well, which I don't wanna do.
