Need desperate help in finding the best tune
A few tuners (not piggy back)
Renntech
Weistec
Velos
CarBahn (S. Dinan company)
DME
Eurocharged
AMR
VR Tuning
OE Tuning
...
I am using Velos and I am very happy. Handheld tuner + custom file for your car. Some adaption to your specific needs and situation but nothing crazy, Medium priced, excellent after sale service, relative locale to me. Little to no complaints/issues you can find online that I am aware of, have tuned a ton of our cars. Others can chime in why they choose others.

@Adrian Vega All on the list have there own + and - 's, so it comes down to what elements you value more or less.
I have a RennTech,:
1: because they are close to me, and they did a couple of my other cars and are class act
2: they are well respected in the resell market with dealerships etc, and you can retain value from what you put in.
That's all I was meaning. From some reliable M157 guys DME tune is meh, my M156 from velos was very meh.
But in the end I thought I should just pull my nose out of it. I have used OE for another platform and did like their CS and experience.

There are hundreds of tuned cars so finding the best tune is subjective unless you had Data. Also, one tuner may get more HP/TQ, but car may drive like crap! My take is 90% of the tuners create a Tune Package for a Stock C63, One with DP's, and that same Tune goes to 99% of the people who buy it. There isn't any custom tuning really. Again, if you had a dyno, and a way to data log, then you would KNOW your Car is Tuned Correctly.
I'd read posts and see who had a good track record! EC has been great to many, but a few had some issues. I'm sure all the tuners have some cars that have some issues. From a Numbers Perspective, I bet EC has more Tuned Cars than ALL the other tuners combined. I would LOVE to try another TUNE on My Car, just to see if I can tell a difference. I'd love to do that, but am not interested in paying! Again, for a stock car, there are only so many things they can tune. It's not rocket science and I'd assume most tuners are doing very similar changes, increasing BOOST, etc., Removing TQ Management.
I would also LOVE TO KNOW WHAT are the MAIN things the Tuners are Changing on Our Cars? Not HOW, or their secrets, but just the parameters they are modifying so I know what exactly is being changed to get these gains?
I wouldn't go with the tune that was $3,000 as there are too many other options. I still may go DYNO My C63 AMG Sedan (2017) now that I know someone local who has one and can Data Log my Car with HP Tuners. I just want to DYNO STOCK (take EC Tune OFF), then Put my Stage 2 ON, and Dyno and see what Gains I am getting, so I KNOW with Real Numbers, and to ensure the car is running correctly (Air/Fuel, The Curve Looks Good Etc).

or in my case , talking with an owner of a franchise who treats people like crap and acts like he is the brains or talent behind ec and is not nor even close.
companies like EC have nothing special over others , but they definitely have franchises that have no clue.
EC is basically a “McDonalds” of tunes. But they dont event any tech, they white label (buy) from a seller and relabel it as there own.
If you do all you mods anmodsne at once than any of the brands are great.
I have AMR and I love that you get stage 1 and 2 tunes in different octanes for a total of 6 tunes. It allowed me to stage 1 and small mods while under warranty now. And later add upgrades into stage 2 without having to purchase another tune.
I recommend at least anything with a hand held tuner so you can always return to stock if needed for dealership work or other tune and software updates. Than in a few minutes reload back your performance tune.
