Creaking front quarter panel?
I've just finally got over 1,000 miles on the car (I CAN'T WAIT FOR WOT!!!!) but I just noticed that my passenger front quarter panel, right over the wheel arches, creaks when I put some pressure against it. The driver side doesn't. Is this one of those "well it's built in 'bama so deal with it" or something worthy of bringing in to get it looked at? I also found a roof trim clip in my engine bay by the driver-side windshield, but both sides of my roof trim feel secure in place...
Confusing little things that I'm willing to look past, if people agree that these are just things that can be expected with our cars?

Engines in Germany, if you're in the US and own a 2020 or before, final assembly is in Alabama. If you're curious and think you've maybe gotten lucky (highly doubtful) and have a car that was imported from Germany, you can trace your VIN to see where it was manufactured. 11th character in the VIN will indicate where it was manufactured. If US, it'll be a U. If it was in Germany and you have a unicorn, it'll be F

Just some clarification on the origins of the cars and the VINs. As stated above, the W205 (sedan) used to be made in Alabama for the US market coupes/cabs and I believe wagons as well are made in Bremen, Germany. The US built VINs don't start with a W. They start with a 5 typically. GLE and GLS start with a 4. Those are MBUSA VINs. If your VIN starts with a W, then you have to check the plant code, which is the 11th character. The US sedan production is moving to South Africa. The plant code is R. Here's the list of plant codes for reference. Daimler is changing their VINs, though, and in the future all VINs will start with a W and the Alabama plant will get it's own plant code, but I don't remember what it is.
