A205 different exhaust to W205?
Looking forward to joining you fortunate lot on Friday when I take delivery of my 2017 C63s Convertible. Found one with decent options but without the performance exhaust and the deal was too good to turn down.
So asked Rtec in St Albans which aftermarket exhaust options I have and they said that only the Brabus fits the A205 and its £10k!!
Are the exhaust different between the convertible and the coupe? Anyone know of a cheaper way to get some fun sounds when i'm in Sports+ mode?
Would a simple tune from SA Tuning change the noise profile? They are close to me.
Thank in advance for your advice!

Coupe or cabriolet should be the same. Personally if my car didn't have PE i would go with AWE track/switchpath. There are plenty of videos on youtube, check them out(use headphones to get most out of it)
A tune wont make your car louder ,but it sure can add burbles/rice krispies which are cool when not overdone.

The AWE exhaust doesn't fit the cabriolet (from the AWE thread on this forum) but does come in sedan and coupe versions. The AWE guy said that the bracing added to the cabriolet means the exhaust won't fit.
Has anyone managed to adjust one to fit or found an aftermarket exhaust that will fit the A205?
Why are you in such a hurry to mod your car? You haven't even got it yet or posted any pics 🤣🤣🤣
Just relax sit down with it, open up the owners manual, learn a few things first and take it out for a good drive!

Spent a lot of time researching and watching every C63 video on youtube and the stock exhaust didn't sound anywhere near as good as the PE.
I also presumed that the sedan and coupe exhausts would all be interchangeable with the convertible (now realise they are not) but it seems there just wasn't the demand for the aftermarket exhausts on the A205 to justify anyone making them.

I did the same thing when I was waiting on my first one as well... but then once I got it, I had so much fun with it, learning it, getting to know it as it was... then I did the items I wanted once I had fun with it , and saw what I wanted to change, modifiy, enhance, etc..
Take her out on a few dates , smash it hard, soft, and often, then you will get to see what your missing or want more of...
Same applies to finding a GF...
Was just thinking of having it wrapped in black latex with some kind of dog collar chain around the bonnet and then whip it in a basement until it sobers up.
that would prob work too.. haha
