So I've been going round and round on whether or not I want a Panamericana grill or simply paint my pre facelift grill black. I had my car Xpel'd and Ceramic Coated last week and was going to have my guy take the grill off and paint it as well but I didn't as I was still undecided. Now I think I'm leaning to just painting, but anyway here is my question.
Does anyone who did the swap have a pre facelift grill they want to part with for a reasonable price? I'd prefer to have it pained and then I'll pull them bumper and swap them out.

Unless you are shooting for the murdered out look , then sure ... go Black all out.
But man all this black this , black that , paint the trim this... making me go nuts.
My spec is White exterior and the few black elements from the Night package.
oh and my Black 66s Rims.
Thats all you need to make the Coupe pop and stand out.
Adding all those the ricer mods, folks might as well .... make the Tires bulge out with 30" Spacers...lol

So blacking out the center of the grill is Ricey???
My car has the Night Package already and I think tying in the grill will complement the front end nicely and since it's my car..well.....thank you for your concern.
I simply wrapped my PFL grille and nobody would be able to tell.

Did you just use simple vinyl wrap or something specific. Exactly the look I'm wanting.
Same question here! I got a PFL coupe with silver Matte paint. With that color I seldom see blacked-out ones, wondering about whether or not to get the FL grill...
Not sure what all the negativity is about from fromv4_to_c63. Have seen him post nonsense in several threads and not sure what he is talking about half the time - his reply here is a perfect example.
Get the panamericana grill or black out your current one. IMO chrome is more of a luxury look and black is more of a sporty look... I'd say it's more of a personal preference on what looks better. MB offers an AMG night package with various pieces blacked out as an option from the factory. I personally choose the panamericana style because I wanted the updated style, very happy how it turned out.
