Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I'm having issues with this as well and unsure what to do.

So my airbag lights stay on when driving around with no one in passenger:

No passengers

child or passenger in seat

Is there a problem?

Nope, looks fine. The child appears to be heavy enough to arm the airbag.

ok, cool beans!

So it's not an issue that that "Passenger Air Bag light" light is always on regardless if someone is or isn't sitting in the seat? Cause some of the other posts above and one video shows that it comes on and then turns off. Mine stays on all the time until I turn off the car.

Correct. See the video I posted above showing the startup sequence. The "Passenger Air Bag light" is always on. I'm guessing it's supposed to draw your attention. Then if nobody or a small child is in the seat then the Off light is on to the right. If an adult or heavy enough child sits in the seat, then the On light is on to the left.
