Experience with magno paint on a long road trip
We drove through tons of work zones (the state of Indiana was basically one big work zone) including sections where the lanes were closed and you had to drive on the shoulder of the road which was just covered in gravel. Sections of Wyoming where wind gusts sounded like they were just peppering the car with sand and small pieces of gravel. I drove passed tons of huge trucks hauling sand or small rocks who were just spilling them all over the road. Did my best to avoid these things as much as possible, but with so much highway driving some hazardous conditions were unavoidable.
Overall the paint held up great. Looks like I somehow picked up a tiny tiny rock chip on the very top of the C pillar right where it meets the back windshield, although that might have been there before, I just noticed it for the first time when we were in California. I did bring a bottle of Dr. Beasley's matte paint cleaner and some microfiber clothes and would wipe down all the bugs on the front end every few days, but other than that I didn't do anything about any dirt or other things that got on the car. Other than the chip that may or may not have happened on the trip there was no issues or damage to the paint at all.
Since then though -- just bugs. I use Chemical Guys Matte products - like em a lot!
