Mode race: low gear changes!

Help friends, when I put the car in race mode (with traction handling or esc totally off) the car usually changes from 2 to 3 at 4500-3000 rpm, it also does it from 3 to 4 at the same revolutions, it does it once in every run, this never does it on s +. . I have 1 month with the car, it is a 2018 c63s, does anyone know what is happening? I have tried in all ways and it always does the same only in race mode. . Thanks!

Let me understand this a bit better. You put the car in RACE mode, gearbox is in Auto, and it's automatically changing gears for you at 3000rpm?

That shouldn't be happening.

In RACE, the gears never automatically change up until much higher in the rev range.

Sounds like your car needs a proper gearbox re-adaptation done in Xentry by a specialist indy or the dealer.

Have you got warranty? Take it to the dealer mate. Get them to sort it out.

This is correct - foot to the floor engages kickdown

The kickdown pedal is at the very bottom of the accelerator pedal (if you gently push the accelerator all the way down, there is one more press that you can do at the very bottom and it is for kickdown)

So even in MANUAL your Race mode is still automatically changing gear at 3000rpm sometimes?

It shouldn't not be doing that in MANUAL mode. Personally speaking that never happens in my car. In Manual I can be in 7th gear and floor past the kickdown and the car will not drop gears and shift by itself.

Only when coming to a stop and slowing down should the car downshift by itself in Manual or Auto Race mode.

Can you video this so we can better understand what is happening? And book it in with a dealer if you still have warranty.
