2021 C63s AMG Coupes Are Sold Out Across the USA

We knew this day was coming. As of today, there are 3 C63s coupes listed on Cargurus. One of those is for sure sold, the other I'm guessing is also sold because it's been listed for almost a month and they didn't respond to emails about the car. There is one left at MB SF. Asking price $115k for a magno gray which is around 19.3k ADM. I wouldn't be surprised if this one is also sold.

There is 1 listed on Autotrader at MB Naperville, IL. However, that one is sold. I haven't checked the non "s" C63's, but I'd guess there are less than 5 of those left if any at all.

For anyone still in the market, used is obviously the only way to go although I don't see any used 2021's and the used car prices on 19-20's are almost as much as MSRP new.

Sweet sedan you have there. I love the blue. I honestly wouldn't have minded a blue coupe if it was built to the specs I was looking for. Fortunately, I lucked out and got the exact color and got a ~90% match for the build I wanted. 12% of MSRP was a killer deal at the time. I got just under 2% off my coupe, but those days are long gone. The last remaining coupe listed online (if it's even still available) is going for almost $20k over.

The C63s sedan inventory is doing better than the coupe, but not by much. There are 10 sedans listed on Cargurus, but I'm guessing at least half of them are probably already sold.

Cabs are gone too. 6 left in the country as of Friday and now that number is down to 4 or 5. I know at least 5 We had a MY22 C63s on order (not allocated) and when we heard the news, I took the day and scoured the country only to find the closest spec coming into the dealer 2 hours from me. Has a crap ton of Carbon on it, but that's hopefully an easy swap.

Dang 12% that's about the best I've heard. The one I put the deposit down on Saturday for was nowhere near the deal that I had with my primary dealer, but hey you do what you gotta do to get the car! The deal I had originally gotten to was 7% off MSRP & Pre-Paid maintenance for 4 Years included. Since that one isn't getting built I had to go elsewhere, which means I had to pay a little more. I was able to get it for sticker and that took some doing.

One last place to check other than Cargurus and AutoTrader is the AutoNation inventory.

Found a few coupes here that appear to still be in production/on the way: https://www.autonationdrive.com/new-...odyStyle=Coupe

Out of those 5 cabs you know, how many of them are already sold? Dealers on Cargurus and Autotrader often take days, sometimes weeks to remove sold car listings. The fact you paid only sticker in today's market is a massive win, consider yourself very, very lucky!

One in SoCal is a dealer demo, and they aren't interested in selling it at the moment.
Another in SoCal is marked on autonation as pending sale.

I seen a red one in Boston Metro (C63S), Silver one in Southwest somewhere (C63s), and a Diamond White one in Delray Beach FL (C63).

There are two others out there that were out there early last week as well that have already been sold. Miami, FL & Atlanta, GA

We didn't go for the Diamond White one in Delray beach as it has Black/Red Pepper Interior and is just a normal C63. On the luck part, yeah it isn't the prior deal I had, but better than 20K over sticker or something crazy like the numbers G wags are selling for right now.

That's crazy, the one in Atlanta has cashmere white magno color option which cost $3950? I didn't know cabs had different color options than the coupes. I just checked the build sheet on it, it's spec'd at MSRP $103.3k and going for $11k over if it's even still for sale. There are still a couple of C63 non-s coupes listed, but I don't know if either of them are still available.

I had to scour the earth to find my C63S, ended up getting it in Boston (Selenite/Red Pepper) - I live in Buffalo. If the one in the SF area is at Walnut Creek, I tried to buy it in May and was all set to do so until they demanded 5% over MSRP and wouldn't negotiate. I had other C63s on my shopping list and told them they were going to lose the deal and they did.

The one in SF was at MB of SF, I'm not sure if it's still for sale but it's still on their website. Sounds about right...the California dealers that I shopped around at back in June were all asking anywhere from 5-10% ADM and that was before the V8 news.

Did you find a C63s coupe or sedan, and did they charge an ADM?

It's a coupe, and I got it at MSRP. If I remember correctly I did the transaction in June, and the salesman said it was the last car they were selling at MSRP for the foreseeable future.

Yeah Walnut Creek is always sketch (as is anything in California).

It's a shame because last year you could get a 5% or so discount.

I got a lightly used 2021 for $83k ($87k sticker)

Still regret it as I liked my 2020 more (was $72k with $83k sticker).

Wonder how much my 2021 is worth now...

Yeah, I could have also ordered an M4 with a manual transmission that hadn't been beaten to death with the ugly stick! Options would have been different last year but my financial position wasn't where it needed to be to make this happen. Having said that I'm really happy with the C63. It's sexy as hell, interior is top notch, and there's nothing else that makes this noise!

After two years how much depreciation can one expect for either a 20 or 21 coupe/sedan? Let's say a car is driven and not stored and has 10k miles after two years.

I have been looking at possibly trading in our '21 C63S Cabrio due to the ride being a bit rough for me on our terrible roads in NC. The C63S was purchased in February had a MSRP of $97,715 and has 4,700 miles right now. I have gotten trade-in quotes from dealers for between 82k - 88k.

Okay so about 10k, with the market being as crazy as it is right now and no more v8's being made that sounds reasonable. I wonder what pricing would be if there wasn't a chip shortage. Just curious to know why folks are overpaying for a car when they will for sure lose money in the first year even though no more v8's are being made.

To elaborate a bit more on our situation, this is the first time we've had the ability to purchase a new AMG that we have loved the design and specs of. Since this car is for my wife, and she is in love with her current C300 Cab, it will remain in our collection for many years. This is a vehicle I don't see my wife ever wanting to sell. In that case, it makes sense to buy it new. We understand all that comes with owning a new vehicle, the good and the bad. To us the 10K or so is worth it in getting something fresh off the line, especially if we plan on keeping it for the long haul. In the end, it's like you say...To each their own.

Oh yea I'm not knocking on your purchase hey if you love the spec then by all means go for it. This market is just wild.
