M8 is a better car all around. $70k difference as well.

Not a fair comparison. C63 compares with m4. M8 is smoother and comfortable, way better interior, better tech, faster and also almost 100k difference depending on options. If you have the budget then M8 100% no comparison here

Agree…I’ve ridden in a friend’s M8 and it’s a whole different animal. You can pretty much buy 2 C63 PFL cabs for the price of an M8.

Test drove the M8 and 850M cabrio, and C63S cabrio. I wanted the BMW's but didn't want to pay the price. I ended up going with the C63S cab. After driving the C63S for a couple of months, I drove my son-in-laws M850. It drove well. Slightly faster but must say, the comfort level of the C63S was much better. Seats were more comfortable and the ergonomics of the C63S were better. With all that being said, if I would have been able to steal a pre-owned M8, that would have been my choice. It is a monster GT. I don't know the mechanics of the cars but I think the C63S was built from the ground up as a true AMG performance car. I'm not so sure that the M850 was. I do enjoy the C63S. It is a great option if you can't or don't want to spend the extra 25-35k more for an M850 or 40-50k more for an M8.

I have a 2012 BMW 650i Convertible and yeah the seats looks fancy but they are uncomfortable and tough, I say this because the 650i is the same interior layout as the 8 series.

I have a C63S but have driven the 8 series a number of times, last weekend was the last time. Both are great cars and it really depends what you are looking for.

The 8 will have a much more comfortable ride than the C63S. They have similar technology but the 8 will have a touchscreen while the C will have a digital dash that can be customized. The seats are comparable but the 8 have more adjustments and offers the optional massage. The visibility out of the C63S is much better and the low slung roof line in the 8 made me feel enclosed similar to a Camaro (but not as bad). The rear passenger room is much better in the C. The sound system is much better in the 8. The C will be much more toss able and easier to maneuver in close quarters. Exhaust sound is about equal. The 8 offers more after market options.
