It was going to be my next car but now i'm very disappointed. It doesn't look much different from the base model. No flares fenders, no fender vents. These 2 cosmetics is what make the Z06 stand apart from the base model.
Well, we're talking about a <$100k Chevy versus a $250k+ Ferrari, so of course it's going to look cheaper. But when it comes to bang for buck performance, the C8 Corvette is a great option.
Bang for the buck = Massive drivers with the same car = ill pass
Not a bang for your buck = Exclusivity = Sign me up

Performance? If you have to asked then you don’t know much about the history Z06 model. Now, this C8 is a totally different car then the one it replaced. It pretty much based on their racing car.
Z06 are very exclusivity. I rarely seen it in the road. I’m not sure where you live but here in sunny California, Mercedes is the norm.
Yeah was hoping the Z06 addressed the rear end styling some, it's just not quite right. Corvette had demo rides set up at Barrett Jackson last weekend and I was very impressed. Super quick and stuck like glue even on a somewhat wet track. Changed my perception for sure.

I feel like I see the Z06 every single day.
I am the only lowered, murdered out, tuned GLC that I ever see....
That being said, I have never liked Vettes but this one looks awesome and it looks a tad faster, in a straight line, than the tuned GLCs. I am sure it is phenomenal on curves and track.
But then again its a an American made sports car , not my tastes even in person!
But , I will be the 1st to say , " Dope ride to a driver " that's just me
I can't get past build quality on the Corvette - even fresh out of the show room floor I'm just not impressed. That being said, they still don't have an electronics package that comes close to the C63S - the Vette will spin you around if ya blink.
I like them - exterior looks and the fact its a mid-engine car appeals to me a lot...but I already see almost as many C8's on the street as I see Camry's. Will see how the Z06 looks on the street - always different than when you see a high gloss pic - it may overstated or understate its street presence.
