Downshift from 4th to 3rd?
I've had my used 2018 (pre-facelift) non S estate for a couple of months now and have noticed that on occasions, when in sport+ in manual mode, changing down from 4th to 3rd gives a bit of thud and doesn't seem to rev match properly.
It doesn't happen that often but enough to make me notice it.
Is this normal or worth getting looked at as its under 'Used MB warranty' still.

How many miles/kms and in which market are you located? Does this have an MCT box, 7G or 9G?

Agree with normal. The 7G is clunky shifting into and out of 4th gear, mostly downshifting. For example 5-->4 and 4-->3. It's likely related to clutch K3 which is overworked in the box design. K3 is engaged in all gears except 4th. Actuating K3 with negative (braking) torque seems to be the problematic condition. I chalk it up to another MBAG design error.

It happens here and there in Sport Plus or Race mode using full Automatic mode too but in full Manual mode it always happens from 4th to 3rd.

With your mileage, it’s about time to do a trans flush and have the transmission relearned at your dealership. I recently did this service (purchased trans flush kit from FCP Euro and dealer did service)/trans relearn and the car drives like new.
