In past threads I read the ECU/TCU thinks the tires are rotating too much or too slow and it throws the TC off. But others said going from 30 to 35 is minimal and shouldn't cause the issue. Either way it went away after a few thousand miles in my case.
It does throw off the TC. When ever you do a u-turn or a turn over a speed bump, the car makes strange sounds and there is tire spin. I have 255/35R-9 on the front and I just changed my rear tires from 35 to 285/30R19 on 9.5 and that problem is now gone since the tire rotation ratio is virtually the same.
