285/35/19 on stock SEDAN 19" wheels
like my title says im curious to see some photos of 285/35/19 on the c63s AMG SEDAN. i am lowered on eibach springs and really dedicated to Nitto as a tire company as i have nothing but good experience with them, i love their NT555 R2 tires for an all around "daily" radial. unfortunately 285/35/19 always seems to be way to thick of a sidewall especially for a 19x9.5 but that is the lowest profile i can get for that tire in a 19". open to suggestions of other tires such as the r888r but those are harder to come by it seems and their wet performance is nothing compared to the nt555r2.
my car is right at 700whp and the toyos cant handle it.
currently on toyo proxies 265/35 - 245/35
looking to go to nt555r2 285/35 - nt555g2 255/35
PFA - any help is appreciated because i hate tire shopping!!

Skip to about 40 seconds in... I saw this the other day.

so I see a lot of people say they run 295/30 and a few pics and also see people run 285/35 but no pics lol.
I rolled the dice ordered 285/35 for the rear and 265/35 for the fronts we’ll see what happens 🤷🏻♂️

looking at the specs for the Nitto tires you’re interested in, the narrowest wheel a 265 is recommended to be mounted on is 9”. The sedan front wheels are 8.5”. This is going to cause excessive tire bulge and possible side wall damage.

multiple people claim to run this tire size. Literally all over the forums I just wanted to see how it looked.

just responded to your same post on FB, looks you already bought what you want. 285 on 10.5 rear not ideal, rim is too narrow and it will look bulged and theoretically our of spec for safety. Nitto G2 - almost killed me some time ago in rain, will never buy Nitto again.

ive run a 285 on a 9.5 before the difference isn’t that drastic from the standard 265. See chart below and the 285 on had on my wife 9.5 wheel on her stinger.

Traction control used to go off on wide sweeping highway turns over 40-50mph but it hasn't done it recently.

I got some cheap Atlas UHP tires for now, they aren't that good so I will be looking to upgrade.

In past threads I read the ECU/TCU thinks the tires are rotating too much or too slow and it throws the TC off. But others said going from 30 to 35 is minimal and shouldn't cause the issue. Either way it went away after a few thousand miles in my case.

They fit!
The grip, the ride, everything is better then I imagined. They clear everything with no issues and DO NOT rub.
