Question C63s FL 2019+ Burnout

I don't believe it is possible to do a stationary burnout on this vehicle pre 2019. I turn TC off, put it into manual, sport+ or race and it won't work. If you attempt to hold brake and push the gas, it cuts power completely and does not let you go forward while holding gas. If you attempt to do it with launch control, and try to cancel it to try, t will also just cut power. Does anyone have a 2019 or higher model C63 and have achieved a stationary burnout? If so, how?

2019 have the 9 stage tc from the amg gtr. Once you turned off the tc by holding down the tc button, the 9 stage tc will be active. You have to dial that all the way down to do a burn out. If that doesn’t work then go in the shop menu and turn on dyno mode. That will fully turn off all electronics & you will be free to do a burn out either stationary or even from stationary to 60mph

Thank you, but yes I turned off 9 stage TC and it still doesn't work. What is dyno mode?

There's already another thread with exactly the same question. The short answer is essentially no. For starters, these cars don't have a line lock, so attempting to do a burnout with your foot on the brakes will potentially overheat and destroy the rear brakes and the ECU will essentially not allow brake and throttle at the same time, unless its for launch control. Most cars don't allow this anymore since the unintended acceleration lawsuits. Modern ECUs in street cars effectively cut the throttle the moment you step on the brakes.

The best you can do is a rolling burnout from a stop. Just gun it with everything off, but don't stand on the brakes.

Dyno mode turns everything off, including ABS so that you don't get a Christmas Tree of error codes when the car is put on a dyno and the front wheels don't turn. It can be activated from the workshop menu. Second item from the top.

With traction off you will need to pump the brake pedal, this will get the tyres spining on the spot then just go through the gears

As in; while doing a burnout, go through the gears by holding the gas down, your car will shift to 2nd, to 3rd, to 4th, etc. depending on how long you hold the burnout for.
