*****The transmission needs to be checked for adequate line pressures and possible glazing or worn clutches and bands. How many miles on the trans and what did the fluid look like and did it smell burnt when it came out? Was there a lot of clutch and band material in the bottom of the pan and were the magnets full of metal shavings?

What other mods are on the car? Is this a 722.9 7 speed or the newer 9 speed transmission? Transmissions are somewhat complicated but there are cursory checks that are done to verify that the pumps (mechanical and electronic) are functioning properly and delivering enough fluid to hold and allow the bands and clutch packs to transfer power properly. The wet clutch system is a really nice system but again requires adequate pump pressure and line pressure to operate properly and to its full potential.

Is a 722.9 7 speed with 32k miles, mechanic did tear down the down gearbox to inspect all internal parts including clutches, no metal shavings too, new trans fluid and no burnt smell. When I engage to sport + mode the car feels good, only C and S mode rpm will flare up 200-300 when cruising
