Will the Pre-FL diffuser fit my FL 2019 Coupe?

Hello, so let me explain.

I was interested in getting a PSM Dynamic diffuser for my 2019 C63s. My car has the facelift diffuser. The way the PSM diffuser attaches is via the old diffuser. Would I be able to purchase the pre FL diffuser and install it on my car with no difficulties? It will be a retrofit correct? As the bumper hasn’t changed between the FL models. After I install the OEM pre-FL diffuser, I plan on installing the PSM diffuser onto it.

this should work, correct?

Ok, I've tested this out because I do have the PSM rear diffuser for the coupe. If you are buying the one for the coupe with the 2 fins on the side, it can work but you'll have small gaps. You can fill the gaps with either dynaflex sealer or use that rubber material they use on wide body kits. It can be done, there's even pictures of it on the facelift diffuser (look for nervo.d on instagram).

Yes it is the one with the fins on the side. Why would there be gaps and where would the gaps be?

Also, would you recommend I use the Pre-FL or the FL diffuser? Which has better fitment?

If you have the prefacelift diffuser, that's the one it was made for. The reason it would have gaps, is if you were to install it io the facelift diffuser. I originally had it on my prefacelift, but I took it off when I updated my car to the facelift.

Okay, perfect. To clarify, I can put the Pre-FL diffuser on my FL C63s?

Hmmm, when I converted my pre-facelift to facelift, the diffuser came with a some plastic bracket to support the wires behind the diffuser. I think when you get the diffuser, it comes with the bracket. Keep in mind, the facelift mufflers will not fit the pre facelift because they are bigger. You can mess around with a dremel tool but I wouldn't do it myself. Also there might be some fitment issues if you get a cheap aliexpress or ebay carbon version since they don't bend like abs plastic.

Hmm, okay, so it might just be easier to do it with the FL diffuser then? Where would the gaps be?

It would be in the middle where the fins are. My pre facelift had some minor gaps too, but I just used dynaflex to seal it off. On the facelift, the gap is more noticeable but I'm sure you can just use more dynaflex or that rubber material I mentioned earlier.
