Aftermarket engine mounts
I'd swap with the non-S mounts, but I assume there is some circuit trickery required to fool the ECU and keep a code from being thrown. Has anyone done this swap before?

I’m wondering the same thing. I don’t feel like dropping another 3k and my ride mode is stuck in super sport plus extra track stiff mode. It’s getting tough on the back. Plus I drive a 100 miles a day so the life expectancy and factory replacement would be another 3 months.
Has anyone done this?

hey guys
when your engine mounts failed, do you guys get a code in the scanner?
I currently have the code P0AB602 ACTUATION FOR ENGINE MOUNT B HAS OPEN CIRCUIT OR OTHER ELECTRICAL FAULTS. A GENERAL FAULT EXISTS
Or do you get a exclamation mark on dash or anything? how do you know it has failed?

Your issue sounds like a faulty/dirty plug. Unplug, clean and put it back.

did a little google search and came up with this aswell
In the quick test, faults P0A1402 and/or P0AB602 are stored in the Drive Unit, electrical fault or open circuit (signal error) in actuation system. Vibrations or jolting from area of drivetrain when starting off and in low speed ranges (model series 290 only). Faulty acceleration sensor(s) for active engine mounts. Replace both acceleration sensors for the engine mounts. Check software for active engine mounts and apply any updates, if available.
Acceleration sensors?
I swear i have a love hate relationship with this car,
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

That's from a Xentry for the AMG GT 4 door. Was a software issue.
engine mount 2-2.5k per mount just to buy lol
im gonna put it on the hoist tonight and see if i can find what is going on with it

Keep us in the loop and don't use ECO start/stop.
Rescanned, issue still there.. im guessing the electrical side of the engine mount has failed.
Did a test for engine mounts, by holding brake and putting load on car in drive and reverse, little bit of movement on engine.. not a great deal.
Also Ive never used eco start stop, since ive had the car (2 years) i dont drive it often however
its the first button i press when i start the car, second is the exhaust loud
Looks like China has a replacement.. (not gonna lie im not too fond of their stuff. but alot of these manufacturers just buy the part from another company and wack their tag on)
Left & right $2800 AUD from China, if you look at the moulding or the cast numbers and prints and imperfections it looks identical
