P167085 and P152700 codes
Finally got some DTCs:
P152700: "The check valve of the evaporative emission control system for cylinder bank 2 (at partial load) is jammed open."
P167085 "Calibration of the torque curve of the control unit has a malfunction. There is a signal above the permissible limit value."
Anyone have a clue how to resolve these?
Is the boost pressure solenoid possibly the problem? If so, is there a way to test it?
Thanks for any clues anyone can provide.
please let me know 🙏🏼
I got many other codes before contacting them though: At one point I got P152700, P237700 and P012D00. A few weeks later I got just P012D00 and P012B2B.
A month after that it was P152700 and P012D00.
The changing codes were very confusing.
In the end, the P152700 code ("The check valve of the evaporative emission control system for cylinder bank 2 (at partial load) is jammed open") seemed to be the one that explained the problem because I replaced the evap purge line (which has a check valve in it), and the problem hasn't reoccurred in the 10 months since.
The part number for the evap purge line (left side) on my W205 C63 was A1770105308.
FWIW the Mercedes Xentry Parts Information db has been pretty helpful, and it's a "relatively" inexpensive subscription (at least compared to the other Xentry stuff).
Which purge valves did you replace?
