Wow what a great 4 years . from EU Delivery to pushing this beast through the Cali canyons , car shows , random photos on the freeway and even the gas station convos.
The 2021 AMG C63 will remain in a class of its own.

The Pros
=========
I got 16% under invoice so I drove off with a Value . my coupe was a weekend coupe. I had a daily
The Coupe just looks good period
The sound
The exclusivity , You dont see them

The Cons
============
The Turbo lag , I could not stand it
The service was horrible
The Squeaks from the plastic <<< the Quality is garbage
The alignment going out every 2000 miles

Well I finally said the market is soft enough and I have reached a lovely 98K miles lol , Yes I dawged this beast and loved every moment,
I walked away with a dealer buy back . The dealer eat my loan and I cashed out $39K in my pocket.
Drove it like I stole it.
Sold it like i leased it

A win is a win .. on to the next deal and smile

Your miles will vary . if you dealership is like family feed them some humble pie <img src= " class="post_inline_image" data-size="1284x939" data-src="https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbworld.org-vbulletin/1284x939/img_0395_785c51d6d3a8fd5492e0f22dce1ed1d0db261470.jpeg" loading="lazy" />

In the same boat as you. When I first bought my fl sedan I thought I would be keeping it for a long long while especially when it's the last of the V8s.
With a toddler now and other toys in the garage, it's the sedan that I have to let go when the new car arrives.
Been fun daily hooning in a c63s for the past 5 years and will keep hooning until the new car comes.
Definitely going to miss the sound more than anything.

"Sources" tell me that the new car has far lower levels of turbo lag....and is affordable for most young ladies.

How come you didn't get a GLC 63 S in that case, no you won't have the tail happy RWD C 63 S sedan or coupe but you still get half the experience at least. no, I am not talking about the X254 GLC 63 S E Performance.

I did think of it when I first looked at my c63s but I didn't have plans for a child for another few years so I wanted a sedan for a bit more practibilty than a coupe but better handling/fun than a suv.
Bought a x3 m40i for baby duties but its also my wifes daily now and I really just don't like driving a suv.
To be honest I never pictured myself owning a c63s as I've always dreamed of owning a m3 since my early teens but was too young too afford an e46 and production had ended for e90 when I was able to afford one. Can't remember what the issue was with the f80 which made me decide on a fl c63s but I think it was also end of production for my market or something.
So now with rumours of the next gen m3 to be a full ev or hyrbid I decided to pull the trigger on a m3 touring lci.

Just glad to see someone contribute to this forum. Been so quiet here (aside from members with car issues). Seems like everyone is selling their c63.
Good luck and let us know what you end getting.

yah been quite quiet here. On AMG Reddit there is a bit more c63 205 action though. I’m enjoying mine but the creek over bumps is absolutely embarrassing. Fix that and I’ll own it til it rusts to death.

I asked about a square wheel set up for tracking and so far crickets.

A creek, it could actually be the sunroof.

it sounds like it’s coming from radio area or rear mirror. I’m gonna have to have my wife drive as I listen and see.

I think I had that. It's coming from the overhead module, the one that houses the cameras etc. That whole assembly creaks. Push against it and see if it stops. If it's the same issue, then it will stop as soon as you apply pressure to it. I had the shop foreman locate it from the passenger seat as from the driver's seat it sounded like it was coming from somewhere else in the dash. They took it apart and put some felt liner in there and it's been quiet since. I don't really have creaks anymore. I mean it's not completely quiet, but it's a stiff chassis, so as it flexes when driving up a driveway for example I can hear some creaks, but my RS5 I had before creaked much more. Stuff eventually gets knocked loose on an AMG due to the stiffer suspension and all. AMG doesn't even warrantee creaks and rattles in these cars. It's a losing battle. Comes with the turf.

Felt tape is so important in these cars, it should be included standard, don't you think?
