Thinking of selling, what are your thoughts

Hey fellow members I'm seeking your advice on a potential sale. I bought my C63 in 2021 (2nd owner) and thoroughly enjoy it but as they say, life change happens (2 grandkids). Been kicking the tires on vehicles with at 3rd row but also looking to put my C63 up for sale. Problem is, the stealerships will rob me blind and the "so called" 3rd party sites (Carvan, Carmax, etc.) have no idea the worth of our beloved AMGs. I've also heard about sites like Bring a Trailer (BaT) and Cars & Bids...sites were you can place specialty cars like ours on there and enthusiast bid on them. It's a good idea and I've seen some good sale prices on there, I'm just worried that if I do that, I may not get as much as I'd like (seeing as I still have a loan on the car).

Just the basics, mine is the base version with the standard features which came with the following accessories: Obsidian Black Metallic Paint (197), Black Nappa Leather (801), Natural Grain Black Ash Wood Trim (736), AMG Performance Exhaust (U78), Red Seat Belts (Y05), AMG Track Pace App (255), Head-Up Display (463), Illuminated Star (00A), Exterior Carbon Fiber Package II (B28), and Multimedia Package (320). The only modifications I've done are CF Side Skirts (RW Carbon), CF Diffuser (RW Carbon), AMG Exhaust Tips (RW Carbon), AMG Door Lights, and Chrome delete (to include decals). All scheduled services performed at the local dealer or reputable indie and tires replaced in 2024. Also, clean CARFAX and I'm the 2nd owner. I guess my point is, any idea on the asking price? Where should I post to see if there's any interest?

I think you should keep it maybe get the same car in sedan form or maybe if you really have to get the GLC 63 S, as for selling, you could list it on this site, I seen success of selling on this site itself. Someone sold an EQS 580 to a forum member, another sold an E 63 to a forum member. Point is, most of us on the forums are car enthusiast and know how to appreciate these vehicles and in other words, it will land in good hands (at least most of the time).

I think we are at the point of the three rows and if the 2nd row has Captain's Chairs, that's a plus. I'll post on here an see if there's any interest. I know when you go on sites like Autotrader, the asking price is all over the place. I'll take some pics an post, it's kinda dusty at the moment due to the fires up in the LA area.

LOL, hell no to the minivan . Ya, bigger inside is the key, I'm gonna post in the "For sale" section to see if there are any feelers. Tried to keep the car clean, but the ash from these fires is everywhere

Haha : ) I knew that will be the response I get : ) I mean nothing comes close to a minivan when it comes to interior space though, despite the word "mini" in the name.

So are you going to replace it with a GLC 63 S then?

The Toyota dealer tried to get us to look at the Sienna Minivan. Nice ride, roomy and all that, but, umm, NO!!! The GLC63 S would be amazing, but looking more at the GLS 450 (used).

Perhaps get a GLS 580 so you still have a V8.

The R63 was made for stuff like this. Pity it didn't last long on the market....

I posted in the marketplace, but how does one make adjustments to the information (asking price for example)?

Might need a mod to change it.

You have to reach out to a moderator on this site to make changes. They will help. I have my C63S on the Marketplace.

I thought so, it used to be that you can edit it at anytime for regular forum posts but ever since a change, you can only edit your own post for up to a few hours before you need to contact a moderator to change it I guess that algorithm also applies to marketplace posts as well.

Change made, but they then said I was a vendor, so the original listing was closed and I posted a new one.

I asked the moderator to change the asking price. He did but then when I went to check, I had "Vendor" next to my name in the marketplace. So he said that nothing could be done about it, had to close the original post and start a new one (which I did)...so weird.

That is strange indeed but at least you have a fixed post/thread now so that is good, the result is the important part.

Anything Benz SUV will be toast.
Best to go with BMW or Audi for now

Covid some how tanked Benz parts and products. you had a good 4 years.
