I am looking for a reputable Nor. Cal. shop to do a header install on my SLK55. Does anyone have any recommendations? I would prefer to take it somewhere that is very familiar with MB AMGs. Price is not a concern... Meticulous, quality work, is. Thanks.

European Werkstatt in Walnut Creek. They know what they're doing as the owners are hobbyists themselves. They have a dyno at their shop, and the guy that welds for them does CLEAN work. They've got some cool project themselves going on too.

Bumping a 4 year old thread. I'm thinking about trying out Nissi. Does anyone else have any experience with them? On one hand, I'm scared to have an indy work on my brand new AMG, but on the other hand, I haven't had the best experience with SF dealerships and they are $$$$.

+1 for Nissi. Benny helped me with ECU upgrade. Nice friendly guy.

I take my 2007 E63 AMG to Quality Auto Center in Sunnyvale, Ca. They does all my work and service. Mercedes Exclusively in Santa Clara, Ca is great as well.

Oh btw, anyone know a good alignment shop I can take my benz to?

I take my cars to Kim's Tire Outlet in South San Jose. he has a top of the line Laser alignment machine.

MB Garage in San Mateo is very good and recommended by the local MBCA section.

My brother, Jay, was a tech at a MB dealership for years and has own his shop now. He is very skilled in diagnostics/repairs and charges a fraction of the dealer rate. I had a positive first experience with Paul at CK Auto in Santa Rosa. Needed a trans flush and Weistech tran pan installed. He did it no problem. No issues with the work and was reasonable, on time, and didn't require a trip to dealer.
