Defrosting Windshield, Windows, etc. in Canada - 2018 GLC300
I like to be informed almost everything about my car, so I usually read the operation manual, but for some reason I can’t seem to find information in regards to defrosting my windows, windshield etc. Do I just turn on “Auto” or put on MAX air ? How long does it take to defrost your windows in the cold with Canada temperature? It’s not even -30 Celsius.

Apologies for reviving an old thread, but does anyone know if puremb.com for Canadian enthusiasts still exists? Upon loading the page...I received a "stay tuned" message, and then from a second attempt, the page/forum loaded fine, but the latest posts appear to be from early 2017. Could anyone shed any light please?

Don't complain! I just tried to put my summers on again, on my 2016 GLE63s....and the dealer informed me that my tread had worn to only 0.1mm from the wear bar. Had to buy new $2500+install for new summers! But I got smart and went to COSTCO instead.....got them for $2k tax in for all seasonal scorpions.
Thinking that I should drive the AMG a little more tame......but I won't.......

Lots of people like to bash the fellow, but it is difficult to argue with the results of his methodology (anti-political correctness) of reasserting economic dominance!
Our Trudeau who is running Canada would be the equivalent of Hillary in the USA - and he has unilaterally destroyed the economy, caused record debt and all but destroyed foreign investment into our country.
Having said that, he did a LOT of amazingly nice and expensive things - for OTHER COUNTRIES WITH OUR MONEY!
Yes, Quebec gets a lot of transfer payments from Alberta, but Quebec and Ontario are NOT the enemy. Trudeau is. In fact, in my opinion, he is almost treasonous to Canada.
A pretty fair and balanced response about this has been written by a guy from Quebec that plays hockey - so he can't be all that bad.
For myself - I am LOVING driving my 2018 GTC down here in Phoenix for a few months before bringing it back to Calgary. I have just ordered a "winter beater" as a new G63S, and a new GLE63S for my wife. I think I'm going to order the new A45 for my two girls.....such amazing vehicles! It'll be nice to have a nice range of AMG's in the family!
