fix the damage, tell us the real offsets, reduce the price a hundred dollars a week until they are sold ... do these 3 things and they'll be gone in no time flat

Don't have time to fix the minor curbage as the wheels are in storage and I don't want to bring them out unless they are going on the car or are being sold. Will fix them at that time.

Offsets are in my thread in the wheels and tires FS section of the forum. Here they are anyways:

Front:
19x8.5 +43 235/35/19

Rear:
19x9.5 +50 265/30/19

Will not reduce this price any further, feel free to make me an offer but I'm leaving it at $2000. I'd rather keep them as a spare set than let them go for nothing. I'm not hurting for money or need to sell these right away, so I could care less if it takes a year to sell these to someone at a fair price.

thanks for the offsets, no one wants to chase all over looking for a piece of information that ought to be right in front of our face

as for <sell these to someone at a fair price> that's what these threads are all about, right? trying to determine a 'fair price' ... what someone is willing to pay for them, vs. what you will let them go for

It will be hard to fix the wheels and make them look the same as the other 2 due to the fact that WORK anodizes their lips on their wheels. I haven't found anyone that can duplicate that here locally to be able to fix the wheels back to brand new condition.

They are high quality Japanese wheels. One would consider them one of the best. They are on their website:

they look pretty good on Justin's car:

but they cost more than real AMG rims on the second hand market, he's going to have them in storage for a long time until he gets his price down to a competitive level

Actually they are priced very well. The OP doesn't need to lower the price. Besides you can't compare OEM wheel prices to aftermarket. I think a new OEM Corolla wheel is around the $500 mark from the dealer.

i don't think that even a Corolla owner buys rime from the dealer, that's just for insurance companies ...
Kijiji.ca and the like are full of ads for real AMG rims, some with rubber and some without, so a thousand for rims and $850 to $1200 for brand new Pirelli rubber, not some beaten up Toyo with '2 years remaining' if you drive easy on them

sure, the OP can leave the price exactly where it is, but there is a lot of competition at that price point - it's entirely up to the shopper - do you want Japanese rims and boots on your German car, or do you want European quality & performance?

Yeah that was my main concern but the shop I purchased them from gave me the contact information for a wheel repair place here that apparently has the equipment to fix up WORK wheels. It sounds a lot worse than it really is, I should have taken a pic before putting them away, but basically on the lip, there is a couple mm edge that got nicked up and doesn't affect the lip itself where it has the machined finish. It looks like they just have to mill it down slightly. Definitely wasn't curbed hard, just caught the side of a concrete curb inside a parking lot.

as for the AMG rims, for the W204, the offsets are quite high and most of the wheels available from other AMG's do not fit. You have a limited selection with this car. In most cases with Kijiji, I'm sure the condition of those wheels are in worse shape. And there is more than "2 years remaining" on these tires, they were only used to drive around the city for a few months a year as our summer is short, not beaten up ripping from light to light or being driving on a track.

WORK makes some of the best wheels you can buy, not a cheap set of knock off wheels you get at some local tire shop.

no one is saying they are 'cheap reps', no one is saying they are 'bad', but there are real C63 AMG rims to be found no what the coupe is out and people want to upsize

< light two summers of driving> Calgary summers start in April and go through October, even 2 weeks driving on some of those hot dry streets and a few trips into the Rockies on the Poundmaker Trail will put wear into that Japanese rubber

my point is I think they are priced high, but you need someone who does not think so, and will give you closer to what you want for them, good luck with sale

Free bump for a fantastic set of quality wheels at a more than fair price. Wish I still had my old WORKs.

Hey infected, if you miss the old Works, you can buy these ones, they are in fine shape, and are getting lots of free bumps too

Thanks but 203 and 204 have different specs and I still prefer the Volks I'm running now.
